Many thanks to the children who attended the St. James Episcopal Church Vacation Bible School! They collected $311 to support Environmental Education efforts of the Grosse Ile Nature & Land Conservancy. Margarete Hasserodt, our 2008 Grosse Ile Citizen of the Year, also attended the camp one morning to talk to the children about nature and caring for the earth.
