GINLC now has some chic reusable bags available for your weekly shopping trips. They're forest green with our logo in white. Members who attend the annual meeting will receive a complimentary bag. Additional bags will be available for a $5 recommended donation.

Many stores will give you a 5 cent credit for each bag each time you use them. These bags are expected to hold up for at least 2 years of regular use. So if you use each bag every week for two years you'll recover your cost... and feel good about it too! Buy several and take them with you each time you go shopping. I have an assortment of reusable bags that I keep in my car trunk. I just pull them out when I head to the market and return them to the car after I've unpacked my groceries. It's a habit you can easily adopt with practice. Just put your mind to it!
