This website was created to show the contributors to my raffle, and my
writings of findings on my trip to the British Isles. I am going
with thirty-six other kids, and three chaperones. This trip is made
possible through the People To People Student Ambassador Program.
The Program was created in 1956, when Dwight D. Eisenhower, our 34th
president, created the program after World War Two. He believed that if
the people of certain countries came and made friends, then so would their
countries governments. Eight presidents have been honorary chairmen,
and programs travel from the British Isles, to Africa's South Cape, from
the U.S.A., to Australia, and New Zealand.
