UPDATES!!!

10/24/2003 - Added an update to the Track Page. I also received my ZZP Lightweight 8-Rib Modified Stock Balancer. This will go on before my next trip to the track, along with a ground down idler pulley, to allow me to run an 8-rib supercharger belt.

10/11/2003 - Finally got around to replacing my leaky valve stem seals! The replacements are Vitron teflon seals and sold by PrjPerformance. While I was in the heads, I decided to upgrade to Titanium Retainers made by Comp Cams. These weigh only 7.5 grams, and are 41% lighter than the steel retainers I was running before.

10/3/2003 - I added a new Bonneville coil bracket, tensioner setup, and ZZP billet aluminum solid motor mounts. Check it out here!

7/13/2003 - I had a strange incident with my new Optima Red Top. The positive terminal MELTED. I'm still not sure what caused the problem, and probably never will be. Hopefully, it isn't something I'll ever have to deal with again...CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES!

6/20/2003 - Added more pictures from our trip to Baton Rouge, LA. I must say that Innovative Audio had some extremely beautiful girls there, and the bikini contest was great! Oh yeah...I got my 3.5" Intake Ducting from INTENSE, I plan to install it this weekend to see if my 3" PVC was a restriction. I will take pictures and do some Autotap testing to see if there is any difference in performance. Stay tuned!

6/4/2003 - With help from my friends Scott and Toby, I installed the 2nd Gen style ZZP Modular Pulley Hub and 3.0" pulley. I will be doing some Autotapping during the next week to see how the car responds to the increased boost. It's good to be back at 10psi!

6/2/2003 - The motor is back together and running strong. I have added more info the the rebuild page and made it more up to date. I plan to head to the track later this month with a 3.0" pulley to see what kind of times I can pull with the new mods.

5/8/2003 - I bought ARP Connecting Rod Bolts and Head Stud Kit from INTENSE and my new style ZZP Modular Hub and 3.0" are here. So they will be going on with the rebuild, to get ready for the track!

5/02/03 - The parts are all here, now I just need to put the motor back together and drop it back into the car. Click HERE to read about the Rebuild. Pictures to be added soon!

4/06/03 - Welp, on my trip back from SLP Appreciation day in Orlando, my motor finally let go. Long story short, I was cruising back down I-10, about 60 miles East of Tallahasee and the motor started to surge badly. I cut off the motor and pulled off onto the shoulder. Upon checking the oil level, smoke started coming out of the dipstick tube. With the help of AAA and my girlfriend's brother, I managed to get the car home in one piece. With assistance from my friend Nate, I pulled the motor and transmission and will begin working on it early next week. I already bought a new piston and the head is getting checked to see if it is salvagable. If it is, I'll be putting in larger intake and exhaust valves. I also ordered a set of INTENSE Oil-Restricted Pushrods to replace the stock set currently in my car. Click HERE to see the carnage!
