The Build Up Well I had some problems with the way I did mine since I took the lift off another truck that I had. Here are some pics of the process of removing removing the trailmaster lift and bringing a truck with 12" of lift and 40" tires down to a 3" lift and 31" tires. We also put 12" of lift on the new 2001 and of course the 40" tires. One other note, this truck was two days old and had a hundred miles on it before I started tearing it appart. Yes I've been told I need help, and I do agree, I mean it could take a lot to do a front straight axle swap but if I had help it would be esier! Well you can see I had some part time help. If you look close at one of the pics you will see why it took me as long as it did! It was bad enough he was too little to get me the correct tools but he had a real time since he had his eyes closed! LOL Also in the last pics you can see were he's obviously is trying to take all the credit for it! he he
I would not recommend to take one of these lifts off a truck and bring it back to stock due to the crossmember in the frame being removed! |
