Company ProfilePERIDOT INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES INC. is a private overseas recruitment agency primarily engaged in the recruitment and deployment of land based workers for overseas employment. PERIDOT was established on August 10, 2000. It is registered with Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) and is duly licensed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration ( POEA ) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). It is 100% Filipino owned and controlled. Its owners consist of entrepreneurs, and professionals, who, collectively, represent many man-years of experience in business, government and community service. PHILIPPINE ADVANTAGE The Philippines is recognized as a rich source of English speaking, highly literate, adaptable, trainable and qualified workers. PERIDOT ensures that only qualified workers are matched with specific requirements of their principals. SOURCING OF APPLICANTS To ensure an adequate and quality manpower pool, PERIDOT participates in professional conventions, gatherings, and job expositions where prospective recruits are oriented and briefed about job opportunities and benefits. PERIDOT strictly follows standard recruitment procedures. Applicants are carefully evaluated by professional consultants in each specific field. They are required to take the appropriate professional examinations or trade skills test. The foreign principal is given the option to select candidates based on comprehensive applicant references and other documents. DEPLOYMENT REPORT From the time we started our recruitment business we have deployed about 1,000 Filipino professionals and skilled workers and staff to countries like Guam, New York, Chicago, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Qatar, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Africa. Peridot gets its foreign employers thru referrals from one employer to another employer and also referrals from the Philippine Embassy thru the Labor Attachés. We believe that referrals have stronger impact when it comes to marketing because the trust and confidence of the foreign employers have been build up already by the party referring them to us.
