The Next Series Title Revealed - 06/07/04
A Hasbro Press Release issued this morning talks about the various properties under the company and it reveals the name of the next Transformer series to beTRANSFORMERS: CYBERTRON. Does this mean the new series will be without a human element? Will the series continue the continuity set in Armada and Energon? Stay with the TFD as more information becomes available on the next generation of the Transformers.

More Energon Backstory - 12/4/03
Toonzone has reported on the premise of Energon, or rather Superlink as it is known in Japan, from a translation from TV Magazine. It translates as follows:
"It was 10 years after Micron Legend, humans and the Autobots have built a peaceful society on Earth. Just then, a very powerful source of energy called 'Energon' was discovered. Wanting to have this power for its own, a mysterious army under the lead of Alpha Q launched an attack on Earth. Can Grand Convoy protect Earth from this onslaught? A new battle begins... with new age of Transformers!"

News and Updates - 4/21/03
Hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend. I updated the G1 Episode Guide by deleting what I felt was the unnecessary entry on Season Five which was just reformated episodes.
Saturday May 3rd is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY. Why would that concern a transfan? Because Dreamwave is giving out a free issue of Armada featuring an original story.
Rhino will FINALLY bless us with a Beast Wars Season One Box Set.
88MPH Studios has updated their website with information & re-assuring fans that the Genesis book has not been cancelled.
And I feel that I should say (after reading Issue # 8, 9, and 10) that the Armada comic is the best Armada, if not overall TF, material out there. Since Dreamwave products aren't easily found in my area, I got these over my holiday in another city and I must say that this is some great writing and art. I won't spoil the story arc here, but after I try and find the final issue of it I'll HAVE to do a review.

Happy Belated Birthday TFD! - 4/12/03
Oh wow, this completely slipped my mind! Six days and year ago, the TFD first hit the web with the premise of housing Fox Kids magazine TF scans and being a Dreamwave image archive. I can say, the site has grown and (pardon the pun) transformed away from I what I envisioned. Happy Belated Birthday TFD and may you have many more.

Hasbro has updated Transformers.com with a Ultimate Checklist that supposedly lists every American made Transformer figure made from 1985 to present. I saw several mistakes in the list including the absence of the Machine Wars line and, according to the list, it was the Predacons that fought the Maximals in Beast Machines. Nonetheless, it's a cool list.

A Site is Shut Down - 12/10/02
TF.Net just sent me some horrible news. The website TransformersNetwork was shut down by a hacker. Here's the e-mail from the former webmaster about the deed.

Hello, I come on behalf, by the name of "The Matrix" from the ever awesome, Transformersnetwork.com site. Recently, the web server that hosted TFN, was hacked. Many accounts, including TFN, were deleted completely.
If you visit http://www.transformersnetwork.com now, you will get no response, since TFN is now...gone. This is one emotional day, for the crew, members, and the people who visited our site.
On behalf of the webmaster of this once, wonderful site, Jess wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, despite the unfortunate times, that we have expierenced.

McArmada's - 10/25/02
The McDonald's Transformers: Armada promotion began today. McDonald's updated their Happy Meal page with information and activities dealing with the Armada promotion. Other than the main page, there are two functional subpages. On the Coloring Book, you can color the Decepticon combiner vehicle any colors you wish. On the Downloads page, you can download an Armada wallpaper for you desktop.
Meanwhile, Transformers.com has updated with information on the promotion as well. That update can be seen here.

Today was a great day for me, and I thought I share it! I found Cybershark and TM2 Dinobot for less than $10 a piece, a video tape containing Beast Wars episodes # 8, 10, 11, 13, and 12 (in that order) for $5, and I picked up issue two of Dreamwave's TF G1! Plus, I now know a store that sells TF from all U.S. releases and a few Japanese ones as well. At next pay check, I'm heading out to pick up the Japanese Beast Wars release of Tigatron and get myself a few more TF video tapes for $5.
