LAST MEETING:

The August 3rd meeting was called to order at 7:07 pm by Dennis Thompson with 11 members present. John Bir gave the treasurers report.  He had paid John Lawyer $5.28 for Stamps and Bill Fulwilder $32.17 for gas.  That left a balance of $366.25.

Denny’s contact at the Crawfordsville Airport is Monty Miller.  He is the one that has the Ag cat.  The Crawfordsville Airport Open house/ air show will be Saturday September 5th from 8 to 5 or 5:30. They will charge 5 Dollars per carload to inter.  Don’t know if that applies to us. There will be a bunch of full scale performing during 1 to 3 and that will shut down our flying.  We will set up our static display up close to the main building and be flying from the old grass runway where we have flown before. This is south of the hangers.  It will be a ruff runway for us but they told Denny that it would be mowed.  We will require that anyone flying RC will have a spotter with them to look for full scale.  The FAA will be in charge and we will land when asked.  We will need some stakes and caution tape to put around our display.  I will get a handout about our club ready.

Our Club open house will be Sunday September 13.  It will not be a cookout. The club will provide Pizza at 5 pm.

The mowers have been running great and Keith’s wife has been helping with the mowing.  Bill Fulwilder put in a request for a Dixie chopper for next year.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:29 pm
