| From the moment
you wake up in the morning until you go to bed each night, marketing
impacts your life. Television and radio advertising, billboards, and
brightly-lit restaurant signs seek to grab your attention. No matter where
you look, marketing is everywhere.
Advertising, sales, merchandising and management careers are all part of marketing. The Marketing Education program at the Career and Technology program at Fort Osage can be your starting line for any of these exciting areas. Projects will teach you not only what you need to know, but how to do the things you'll have to do to succeed. You will learn to work as a part of a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. One thing is for certain: everyday will bring a new challenge and a new adventure. To meet these challenges, two course offerings, Fundamentals of Marketing and Advanced Marketing, provide the full range of experiences you are looking for. An internship program is also available.
