INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Imagine your day without a computer
Computers have come a long way, they impact each of us every day. The time it takes to perform routine administrative tasks has been drastically reduced, but expectations and job responsibilities have increased dramatically.

The Information Technology Program at the Career and Technology Center at Fort Osage, can help you prepare for the demands of the business world in this computer age. You will learn Microsoft Office and prepare to take the exams for the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) Certificate and the Office Proficiency Assessment and Certification (OPAC).

The Information Technology program serves as a career starter for secretaries, bookkeepers, clerks, legal and medical transcribers, etc.

Earn University and community college credits from CMSU and the Metropolitan Community Colleges while enrolled in this program.

Contact your high school counselor to find out more about our Information Technology program and get started on your successful career.
