be all it takes to make this happen.
Horticulture professionals have careers as diverse as landscape architecture and floral design. The Horticulture program offered by the Career and Technology Center at Fort Osage provides the skills you will need to begin a career in Horticulture. Our new $670,000 state-of-the-art greenhouse covers 6,000 square feet and provides a unique hands-on learning environment that is second to none. Floral design, greenhouse crop management, landscape design and maintenence are just a few of the skills you will learn in this program. Talk to your high school counselor about signing up for our Horticulture program. Career opportunies are endless and could easily lead to owning your own business. If you enjoy working outdoors, working with plants and using flowers to create art, Horticulture could be the career choice for you. |
