COMPUTER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The first computer was the size of a house.
Employment in the computer/network support field is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2006. The Computer Support Specialist program at the Career and Technology Center at Fort Osage will introduce you to some of the most important computer skills for the new millennium.

Our Computer Support Specialist program will prepare you to become a network support technician, a network administrator, and a computer support technician. You will learn how to set up and troubleshoot Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to take your exam for your A+ and Network Certification as well as Novell and Microsoft Network Administrator Certification. Our students have moved from entry level positions to jobs as service managers in just a very short time.

If you enjoy working with computers, contact your high school counselor to find out how you can sign up for the Computer Support Specialist program today.
