Dead Silence Recording...Check, Check
   11/8/2003
Hey look! It's not an article that has anything to do with Squeeze Point. See, I can diversify.

Local metal band, Dead Silence, is embarking on recording an album. It would be the first, full-length release for the screamy-singered group.

In a related story, Clark, one of their guitarists, is leaving to pursue other intrests. He is however remaining with Dead Silence to finish up the recording process.

Currently, Dead Silence has a two song demo availible for a dollar. Also, they can be heard on the first release from the record label, The Way Productions. For information on how to obtain these CDs, please contact Dead Silence through their website, Dead Silence. com.

Shomo to Create... Something
   11/7/2003
Boy, doesn't that title just grab you?

Former Squeeze Point front man has a little something up his sleeve. It appears that the singer/songwriter has ambitions on starting a record label.

Details at the moment aren't all there, but what I do know is that he already has a couple perspective clients lined up.

This could be a great venture for Shomo. His love of music along with is love of the local music scene will add greatly to the Greater Philadelphia area.

Squeeze Point Has Burst
   11/7/2003
I know it's a little late, but I figured it's still news worthy.

The indy-rock/grunge/punk/whatever they feel like calling themselves now band, Squeeze Point, has offically called it quits.

After over half a decade of knocking around the tri-state area, Squeeze point left a mark of determination. I am glad to have known the band, and look forward to remaining friends with them.

Personally, I'm not sure when I first saw them play. All I remember is everyone, saying how cool they were and wahted to see them again. After a little while, Doug joined. So, that was my in to further know the rest of the motley crew.

Steve's fierce guitar playing coupled with his emotionally painful lyrics, set the mood for every show they played. Doug wailed and waild on his guitar complimenting whatever Steve and Justin were setting up. Justin's near flawless bass-playing caught many an ear by surprise and awe. Finally, Nick's drumming was always from his heart.

They were a great group to listen to whenever I had the chance, or privledge of seeing them perform. I look forward to seing what comes from them individually now.
I have no idea what's going to go here

Squeezepoint.com - Sure, they broke up, but that doesn't mean you still can't go there. Just keep in mind that Justin is lazy and the site hasn't been updated for a while...sounds kinda familier.

The Neutrinos.com - local punk band that finally updated their site. They can be good people with a couple drinks in them, but not too much.

Dead Silence.com - Metal band in Philly. They currently are working on a release.
