DREW BARRYMORE is Casey Becker, a lovely seventeen year-old high school student who spends her weekends watching thrillers with her football-playing boyfriend, Steve. Could she be the killer... or is she the next victim?

Barrymore has been acting almost all her life. At age six, she landed a role in what would become one of the most popular films in cinematic history, "E.T. The Extra-Terrestial."

Barrymore made her film debut in 1980 with "Altered States." Her portrayal of Gertie in her next film, "E.T.," earned her a Youth in Film Award and a British Academy of Film and Television Artists Award nomination for Most Outstanding Newcomer. She then went on to star in "Firestarter," "Cat's Eye" and "Irreconcilable Differences," for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Other film credits include "Bad Girls" with Madeline Stowe and Andie MacDowell, "Guncrazy," for which she earned another Golden Globe nomination, "Boys on the Side" with Whoopi Goldberg and Mary Louise-Parker, "Mad Love" opposite Chris O'Donnell and "Batman Forever." She will next star in Miramax's "Wishful Thinking" and "Everyone Says I Love You," with an ensemble cast including Woody Allen, Goldie Hawn, Julia Roberts and Alan Alda.

Her television credits include the made-for-TV films "The Amy Fisher Story," "Suddenly Love," "15 and Getting Straight," "Bogie," "Babes in Toyland" and "A Conspiracy of Love." She also starred in the series "2000 Malibu Road."
