"When I wear this badge, you treat me as a man of the law."

DAVID ARQUETTE plays Dewey Riley, a hard-working Woodsboro Deputy who seems to be getting no respect from his younger sister Tatum. Could he be the killer... or is he the next victim?

A fixture on the independent film scene, Arquette has put together an impressive body of work. Earlier this year, he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of a male prostitute in "Johns," which was in competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

His other notable film credits include "Beautiful Girls" with Uma Thurman, Mira Sorvino and Matt Dillon, "Wild Bill," opposite Jeff Bridges, "Airheads," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and the upcoming "Life During Wartime."

Arquette's television credits include the ABC miniseries "Dead Man's Walk" and Showtime's remake of "Roadracers."

Born into an acting family that includes grandfather Cliff, father Lewis, sisters Rosanna and Patricia and brother Alexis, Arquette also performs with his band, Ear 2000.
