Yes! Angela's mother said. "I can't believe that I am going to meet the man I have dreamed about meeting forever." Angela said gasping to get her breath. Angela's mother told her they would have to be in California one week from today. You need to get off work at the law office as soon as possible so we can be in California on time. Angela said that she thought that she would be able to get off work by Friday. The next day at work she asked her boss for the next week off, and Mr Richardson agreed.
The next day Angela and her mother met at the local shopping mall, they picked up new bathing suits and new dresses to wear when they were on Family Feud. I woke up on Friday morning, the phone rang, Hi Angela, the person on the other end said, its Friday, are you ready to go to California and meet your Prince Charming? I told her I was as ready as I would ever be. She told me they would pick me up in one hour to go to the airport.
We arrived in California at nine O'clock at night on Friday evening, and checked into the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Saturday was spent by the swimming pool outside the hotel sunbathing and swimming. Sunday was spent at Disney Land walking around and riding rides. On Sunday evening after a long day at the park we decided instead of ordering room service, we would go out for a nice dinner as a family.
The next morning we got up and got ready to go to the studio, but first we ordered a nice and healthy breakfast. We had to be at the studio at 9:30 to go through make-up and dress rehearsal, so we left the hotel at about 8:15 so we wouldn't be late to meet my Prince Charming. We went through make-up and then dress rehearsal, I saw Richard and I thought I would faint, he looked so handsome in his light gray three piece suit, his green eyes so piercing I thought that I would melt.
The show started and he went to the opposing family first to meet them, it was four men and a woman, the woman was first and she was the mother and the others members were her sons. They picked a white stemmed lollipop. He then came over to my family, my father was at the head of the family, Richard asked him to introduce us. He said "this is my wife Audrey, my daughter Samantha, Samantha's twin brother Eric, and my oldest daughter Angela. Angela was to pick a lollipop, she picked a black stemmed one as he held her hand, he then kissed her on the lips. By the time it was the last question and Angela's turn at the podium her family was behind by 45 points and they got control of the question with her correct answer and got enough points to win the game. Angela and Audrey were picked to play fast money. Audrey went first and succeeded at getting 145 points. then it was Angela's turn and she succeeded in getting the 55 points needed to win the 10,000 dollars.
Backstage, after the show was over with, Richard came up to the family and congratulated on winning the game and the fast money,he then walked away. He motioned for Angela to come over to where he was standing, so she did. Angela, he said, I hope you don't find me to forward, but you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and I would like to take you for a picnic lunch and to the beach for the afternoon, and maybe if things go well, dinner at a seafood restaurant on the beach and dancing afterward, she agreed.
She went over to where her family was standing and told them what had happened, Samantha was totally jealous, but they all told her to have a wonderful time and to be home by midnight so she could sleep before their show tommorrow. She went back over to Richard and told him she was ready to go. After finishing a few last minute details for the next show, the two of them walked out to Richard's dark green convertible, and they were off on their date.
They went to a deli and picked up some ham and bread for sandwiches, potato salad, chips, chocolate cheesecake, and iced tea to drink, and they were off to the beach for a day of fun and games. They enjoyed the sandwiches and potato salad, but the cheesecake was the best part of the meal. After eating the sandwiches, it was time for desert, Richard put a small bit of cheesecake on his fork and fed it to Angela so sweetly, when he removed the fork from between her lips, it left the smallest bit of cheesecake on her bottom lip and he gently kissed it off. She then did the same thing, but she smeared some of the sweet chocolate desert on his nose and kissed it off.
They had such a wonderful day on the beach that they decided to continue their date at the seafood restaurant on the beach like Richard had suggested, They ordered shrimp cocktails and he ordered lobster, she ordered fish and chips, they fed each other off of their plates while they talked for an hour and a half, and then they decided to dancing on the beach in the moonlight. She told him what a wonderful time she was having and kissed him hugging him tightly. He told her he was also having a wonderful time. She whispered "I think I am falling in love with you, Richard" in his ear, Richard said that he thought that he was falling in love with her too. They held each other dancing for the next three songs, looking into one anothers eyes so entranced by the love they felt for each other they didn't want to let go, finally deciding to let go on the count of three, they kissed each other one last time before deciding to end the evening.
