After the men's SP

   Laurie and I were holding the banner up, but really i wasn't sure Alexei looked at it, but he was very focused, and a little tense skating around before the short. It was great sitting at ice level (thanks to Laurie) as i could see the expression and concentration on his face. He didn't smile at all, even before the short when he was sitting near us watching the Pair's.
   Nikolai (his other coach) came over to him while he sat and massaged his shoulders. He actually signed some autographs before he skated his short which I was surprised at. I could have gone over but I didn't want to as he hadn't skated yet. He was wearing his cream coloured vest, and constantly had his arms crossed. BTW he looked wonderful in his red and black costume. Well I didn't talk to him but maybe Saturday i will.
   I did talk to Fedor, he is very sweet. Also i got B&S autograph, I said Udachi to Elena, and asked her is I said it correctly and she said yes and laughed. She seems sweet too, and she is very tiny.

   Oh no, i missed Alexei again at the Delta, well other than Laurie being kind and giving me the extra ice level tickets, it was like I was destined not to meet Alexei, I was stuck in traffic on the QEW for 1 hour, so I missed his practice as I was too late for the first group of men.
   At least I saw him close up , can't get much closer where we sat LOL as the skaters stand by the area on the ice too.
   Talked to Fedor Andreev at the practice, i went to say hi to his step dad who was my coach for a little while. I told Fedor I skated there in 96 and he said " oh I was just a little guy then" and laughed, and said it was quite awhile ago. Then i got him to sign my ticket, and I said it was funny I had the same coach and he was laughing. I wished him luck and he said thanks. It was just at the end of the practice after he landed a 3 axel, he managed to get it after missing it in practice earlier.
   We were parked around the side of the building after arriving late, which happened to be where B&S were walking towards their bus with Tamara shouting "Anton Anton" to hurry up. I did quickly stop them to ask for an autograph, and told them their program was great. They just said thank you and Anton hurried off after signing, and Elena signed it too, i wished her luck, and said udachi like i said before.
