Catherine Castellanos, the associate artistic director of the
Actors Theatre of SF, is in the director's seat for Ben Elton's POPCORN. Her history with the theatre company involves numerous acting tasks, the last of which being Martha in the summer hit WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA
WOOLF? The plays in which she directed for the company have been Pterodactyls, Machinal, and subUrbia, the latter two having received several
awards from both the Bay Area Theatre Critics and Dean Goodman's Dramalogue Award including the award of best overall production for both plays. The 10-member
ensemble includes Paul D'Addario, Susi Damilano, Bill English, Rachel Klyce, Chris Paulina, Elizabeth Phillips, James Palermo, Sierra Robinson and Jennifer Welch, with design by Biz Duncan, Bill English and Brian Jones. |
