DR chair - Death Row - the gangsta rap record label - is getting mixed up with Death Row - the controversial electric chair toy - and Death Row Suge sees the black humor in it all. Suge is Suge Knight, founder of Death Row Records, currently serving out his prison sentence for probation violation. Already, his label is receiving flack from people objecting the "Death Row Marv," a figure who sits in a realistic electric chair and can be electrocuted - complete with body convulsions and a voice tape snarling defiance - at will. Based on a comic book anti-hero, this self-described "torture toy" is on sale nationally and is manufactured by McFarlane Toys. "They're getting us mixed up because of the name and the fact that we introduced gangta rap to the public," says Knight from Mule Creek State Prison, near Sacramento, CA., where he keeps in touch with the million-dollar record label that he founded. "Death Row Marv sounds like a brother. I hear he talks back when the switch is thrown. Maybe we can sign him!" Hearing about Death Row Marv is all Knight can do. An attempt to send him the toy at Mule Creek was turned down. "Death Row Marv" was unsuitable.

Suge Knight - The rumor circulating around the Internet that Suge Knight is being charged for the Murder For Hire of Biggie Smalls is just that- a rumor. Suge Knight, who has been under investigation for the murder, but Los Angeles prosecutors do not have enough evidence to charge him. Suge will be released from prison in less than a year. When interviewed by the NY Post, Suge has been wishing nothing but the best for his cronies. "I hope to God these guys don't go to jail, and in all likelihood, they won't. They are backed by huge record companies and have the money to pay high-priced lawyers to argue their cases. The kids who mimic their actions in their music don't have that money, don't have that backing and they end up suffering. I have kids 14 years old serving 25, 50 and 100 years to life staying in the same facility as myself. They certainly didn't have the representation that rap stars have." Suge is also ready to bring Death Row back to the forefront, noting that even though he has been locked up, Death Row has had two platinum albums in the past year. He told The Post: "I wouldn't say that I'm looking to become a role model when I leave prison, but the violent parts of my life have come to an end." The murders of Big and Tupac remain unsolved.

The Truth on Too Gangsta & Poll updated - Didn't find this out until later on cause yet again I been gone, but anyway here is the official word on too gangsta without all the BS o2's site put in their update. This is no exclusive news as the DR Inmates set up the info and its also on the official Death Row intro page.

Too Gangsta is coming September 19th, featuring: Swoop G, Tha Realest, Bad Habitz, Tha Dogg Pound, the new Death Row Inmate - K 9, Mac Shawn, Crooked I, Above The Law, Cj Mack, and probably Top Dogg. *Guest Spots* include Ruff Ryders? I don't know if that was a good move other then to sell more, we'll see though I'll give them a shot since they working with deathrow, but the biggest guest spot that puzzles me the most is Dre'sta is on the album. If you remember, Dre'sta & his real life brother BG Knoccout had a beef with Dogg Pound/Death Row back when they were working with Eazy E from 93-95, but I guess its long gone by now. Also appearing will be Mac Dre from what I hear, Scarface, Tha Young Hogs, and also Treach from Naughty by Nature.

Expect production credits from Kurt "Kobane" Couthan and Daz, maybe from J Flexx. It looks like another classic deathrow compilation. It also has 2 unreleased songs from pac and along with K 9 another artists has signed to deathrow, El Dorado. He made his Death Row debut on Chronic 2000 with Michel'le on Mr. Officer. Sorry for the lack of news updates I've been busy working on other parts of the site, so until then,........later

New Poll Q&A and check my 411 page, its also updated

Suge Knight news - According to infamous radio personality Wendy Williams of Philly's Power 99, Suge Knight has been secretly terrorizing Dr. Dre, Snoop and the some of the staff of the "Up In Smoke" tour. According to Williams, Suge has been buying approximately 30 front row tickets to every Up In Smoke concert as a show of intimidation to the former Death Row members.

Also, Williams says her sources report that Suge have prevented Snoop from signing an unidentified rap group to Interscope Records because Suge has placed threatening calls to executives at the label. In an interview, with The Source magazine Suge had said that after being released from prison, he will maintain all of his enemies, including Dr. Dre and Snoop. William's sources claim that through Michel'le, his fiancé and Dre's former finance, Suge has been threatening Dre. According to allhiphop.com sources, Dre has visited Suge in prison in order to ease any conflict that may exist between them. Snoop however, had taken the more aggressive path and recorded a song called "Death Row Is Bitches."
