Blues On My Mind
By Jacqueline Amos
I Sing the blues when I wake up in the morning. I sing the blues by the blowing of the horns. I revert into a image, Cotton Club here I am. I sing the songs of the legends. I sing the songs of the past. The Blues got me going. Watch me as I perform. The blues by Billy. My man he dose not love me. Oh how he treats me so bad. The sounds of the blues, makes me change into the spirits of the past.
