Welcome to this year's March Madness Contest.Rules:Pick 10 Teams and rank them 10 (highest) to 1. Each team you have listed will gain you points for every win they have in the tournament. A team on your list will award you points based on the following formula: (Your Ranking of Team) x (the Round of the Tournament). Ex. You put Kansas at the top of your list (#10) and they win their first two games. You would get 10 pts for the first win (10x1) and an additional 20 pts for the second win (10x2). You also put Texas on your list (#4) and they win their first three games. You would get 4 pts for the first win (4x1), an additional 8 pts for the second win (4x2) and another 12 pts for the third win (4x3). Hint: As you can see the higher a team is on your list the more points they give you, but also point values increase significantly the further in the tournament a team makes it. Bonus:In true SURVIVORä fashion, this year's BONUS gives you an extra opportunity to Outwit, Outplay & more importantly Outlast. Pick 1 team each day of the tournament. If your team wins, you advance to the next day. If your team loses, you are out. This does mean that you will pick a team for Thursday, then another for Friday, then Saturday, etc. The catch is that you can only pick a team once. Sound easy? Good luck! (The deadline for accepting a survivor pick is 10am CST on the day of the game.)
Cost:$10 per entrant. One entry per person. A few years ago, I added a link to pay with PayPal should anyone prefer that over Cash or Check. It seemed to work pretty well, so here it is again.
Prizes:1st Place Winner: 50% of pool entry fees
Deadline:Entries will be accepted anytime up to 10:00am CST, Thursday, March 18th.
