I'll drive , You shoot! Diorama - staring Bumblebee & Longarm

Now this is a custom that I'm very excited about. It's a slight recreation of a battle scene with in this summer's blockbuster movie "Transformers". """"" Spoilers""" Now Bumblebee gets blasted during the big fight and loses his legs. Next thing you know, his new human friends are straping him to a towtruck and helping him to keep fighting. The minute I saw the Longarm Towtruck Figure I had to do this diorama.
First Here is my Battle Damaged BumbleBee pulling up to the strip. Using my dremel I made scorch marks on his hood and roof, to have the look as if he has taken a couple of lazer beams from Decepticons. Painting with Model Masters Acrylics to add details.
Here we have Battle Damaged Bumblebee as the figure, I knicked him up a little, then added different metallic paints & washes.

In the pic above I used a SM3 Doc Ock tentacle to make semi-spine that got ripped, a trick I learned from my boy Jin Saotome.

Longarm pulls up ready for the task. Simple custom re-paint of different metaliics, some washes. But wait a minute .....Longarm looks different, Well it should it has Barricade lights on the roof. HMMMM but why would I do that?
With a small chain painted in flat black & rust. Bumblebee is strap and ready to still fight, just like in the movie. The chain is easy to work with. Wrap it around your robot a couple times and hook it tight.
So here is Longarm, simple re-paint, I wanted him to have more or a used towtruck look, so he has a lot of flat black black, rust and little simple washes.
Below is a video to show that my Deluxe Longarm has running lights. I got this idea from my boy Jin when he did this trick to his Barricade Custom. I love it!!! Check out how he did it ---> links!!!
Here is my custom made base. Started off with just a simple blank of wood from Walmart. I covered with foam blocks/kitty litter. Sealed with Ureshell Foam Hardener. Added a broken door, squirting fire hydrant, couple of car pcs.
Some speckle paint , I used a toothipick to show so semi stress cracks in my road. Some drybrushing of blacks, blues on my road and then finishing it with a yellow line. Slow sign for giggles lol.
Below a Jazz fender, only in his memory ....... still mad that they killed him in the movie.
