2006 season
We would like to welcome every one to the new 2006 Riverhawks home page. Please bare with us as we add features to our site over the next few weeks as we prepare for the up coming season.
The picture on the left is of our 2005 team. We will post a new picture after our first game.
This is a our second year as a team in the Sea-Tac NABA league. As most of our players have been playing in the league over the past 5 years. We have made a lot of changes in the off season. First, now an established team, we needed a new logo. Which can be seen at the top of the page.
After last year playing most of our season short handed, we have only lossed 2 players and have picked up some new good ball players. We are a team made up of mostly friends that have been playing ball with or against each other over the past 15 years through high school and rec. Over all, we all have grown up together and are ready to start making some noise this season. Last year our team struggled at first. But after the Forth of July Tourny, going 2-3 and missing the championship game by one game, we became a team. And finished off a hard 2nd half of the season strong.
This year the team got together the first weekend of January and expressed our goals for this year. We wasted no time to get to work. We started practicing the next weekend. With the main goal of getting to the championship game and going down to Arizona this October. We have never looked better.
