| Body | Halloween is my favorite time of year!!! Long ago this was a huge holiday for children; but I suppose that's been dulled a bit by the dangerous society we live in. However, I still love this time of year, and I'm old as dirt. Scary movies, costumes, and even the spookier aspects. | Body | This past weekend I found a great place for Family Halloween fun in Homer Glen, Illinois called Bengston's Pumpkin Farm (http://www.pumpkinfarm.com). It's set up as a small theme park with pony and hayrack rides, a haunted barn along with a fun barn for younger children, a cool petting zoo, pumpkin carving and lots more. As far as food they had chicago pizza, chili, funnel cakes and cotton candy, and a few other things. I had hella fun with my 8 year old, and I definitely recommend checking it out. |
