In 1986 I married Alex who was not at all "horsie" but soon discovered he really liked horses! To watch him work with our horses one would never guess he was not raised around horses. He has become quite knowledgeable and is wonderful to have around during a difficult foaling.

I was raised with horses in one capacity or another from early on, being held upon my first horse at 2 years old, and my parents never heard the end of "horsey" since! I trained, conditioned, and showed, Quarter Horses and Paints during this time in multiple events. I worked at various stables of diverse disciplines as a youth for the experience and later for our Veterinarian where I became well versed in common treatments, illnesses, medications, and foaling which have all been valuable in my Equine endeavors. I have completed classes in "Equine Production and Conformation" and "Equine Genetics" which have always fascinated me. I became a Registered Nurse with Surgery as my Specialty area and this also has been as asset at times.

We first became interested in the Miniature Horse in 1993 and after much study on the breed, bloodlines, and history purchased our first ones.

We did not just want to produce Minis but strive to improve the breed through each generation which we have happily attained that goal!

We purposefully maintain a select herd of 25 or less horses who are chosen for their correct conformation, refinement, and unsurpassed action to win in the show ring today, with notable bloodlines carefully chosen to meet all the goals of our program.

Our horses consistently qualify for Nationals in our extremely competitive region however, we personally do not attend the Nationals due to the demands on our time from careers and the farm where we do all of our own work. We are very content to do well at our AMHA Regional where competition is intense from many of the best farms in the country!
