It's Christmas At our house, the doors are open wide, It's Christmas at our house, don't knock, just come in side .... The next verse talks about sister dolly or someone has their nose pressed up against the window pane. Jay writes, I recently came across some Frank Zappa test pressings listed as SRZ 41500 on Columbia Records Terre Haute, IND.
Searching on line I have come up with a similar listing SRZ 4 1500 listed as a test pressing for Lather on Mercury records.
Mine are in plain white covers with hand drawn notes and some song titles. ... Is this the real deal? ... what is it worth?
Its sounds like the controvertial 4 album set Lather that never went past test pressing, but I am not sure how to check it's authenticity. I will ask around

Hi, for four years now I've searched and searched for a vinyl my parents used to own and play on christmas morning. I remember the album sleeve had shiney christmas baubles all over it. It was a compilation of christmas songs. The main one I want is the Rudolph song as it started with an alarm clock ringing and then santa calling out - Hey Rudolph wake up its christmas again - [Rudolph] Christmas already! [Santa] Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose etc etc etc.

When I was little I used to wake up to the sound of the alarm clock at the beginning and santa calling out. Brings back so many good memories. I'm 30 now (1977) and my parents are sure they bought the album in the seventies. Please help!!!! Would love to play it to my own children on christmas morning.

I've listened to around 30 Rudolph the red nosed reindeer songs but none have the vital beginning that I'm looking for.

Many thanks!

Irene
