The English Adventure:  A Trip to London 

I created this site in preparation for a trip that my husband and I are taking to London, England.

Why are we going to London?
Last year, we won a 6-day trip to any Hilton HHonors property in the world.  We considered many factors before choosing our destination.  After much debate and discussion, we settled on a very classy hotel in London.

What factors did we consider?

  • Market value of the airfare
  • Market value of the hotel room
  • Language spoken
  • Length of time in transit to destination
  • Climate and seasonal weather trends

    Why were we so concerned with costs and value of a free trip?
    The airfare and hotel are free, however, we are responsible for all taxes based on a predetermined prize value ($3000).  We won the prize last year, so we already paid the taxes and we wanted to ensure that we selected a destination and hotel that at least matched the value for which we paid tax.
