Crispy Cinnamon Triangles


    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nuts

    Preheat oven to 275 deg.
    Cream butter and brown sugar.  Add egg yolk and vanilla.  Stir
    in flour, cinnamon and chopped nuts (walnuts).  Spread mixture
    into a greased jelly roll pan.  Brush with unbeaten egg white.

    Bake for 1 hr.  While warm, cut into 2 1/2 inch squares.  Cut the
    squares diagonally into triangles.
