She has always been my site's mascot since its opening in March 1999. She's silly, crazy, and a bit stuck up and jealous. She has a fiery temper, and enjoys running in circles. Although she has gone through a couple boyfriends, she seems to have finally stuck with Tuner, who she's been in love with for nearly a year and has had 3 puppies with.

Tuner Show Name - Horizon's Stay Tuned Gender - Male Breed - 3rd gen Great Dane Birthday - March 22, 1999 Parents - Blue x Marian Past - born in Petz 3 Children - Bocce, Mallet, Raquet, Quasar Tuner (pronounced toon-er) is not hexed; he is the result of a natural fur mutation. His parents and grand parents were all of normal dane colors, but on his day of birth my computer was liking orange, for Jazz, another Dane born minutes away, was also orange. He's sweet, a bit dumb, but Wicket sure likes him, and he's been her mate for almost a year.

Bocce Show Name - Horizon's Bocce Ball Gender - Male Breed - 4rd gen Great Dane/Dachshund Birthday - June 25, 1999 Parents - Tuner x Wicket Past - born in Petz 3 Children - Que Bocce (pronounced Botch-ee) is a cute, sweet, and laid back medium-sized, flop-eared dog. Wicket and Tuner's first pup together, Bocce was named along Wicket's lines (Bocce Ball is a game involving balls much like croquet balls, and a Wicket is what you hit the croquet balls through, but it is also what you attach ski lift tickets to...)

Mallet Show Name - Horizon's Croquet Mallet Gender - Male Breed - 4rd gen Great Dane/Dachshund Birthday - August 11, 1999 Parents - Tuner x Wicket Past - born in Petz 3 This is one dog who takes after his mother... Mallet has a temper that rivals Wickey's, and with his buzz-cut, lean, mean soldier guy look, who's suprised? He likes to pick fights with his brother Bocce (for he gets jealous easily, too) and he inherited the infamous running-in-circles gene. Mallet's toothpick thin, floppy legs go all over the place when he runs (like noodles :)

Avenue Show Name - Horizon's Saks Fifth Avenue Gender - Female Breed - 2nd gen Dalmation/Bull Dog Birthday - March 17, 1999 Parents - Goose x BIG MITCH Past - born in Petz 3 Children - City, Que I've always loved how Avey looks, which is why she came out of a long vacation in storage. Her father was a typical Dal, and her mother (my brother named her BIG MITCH, don't ask me why) was one of the nicest dogz I've known. Avenue is an even mix of the two personalities.

Raquet Show Name - Horizon's Star Keeper Gender - Female Breed - 4th gen Dachshund/Great Dane Birthday - January 23, 2001 Parents - Tuner x Wicket Past - born in Petz 4 Raquet is Wicket and Tuner's first girl, and also their first to inherit the personality of a Great Dane. Raquey is very nice, and has bonded with her younger sister Quasar. She also has a good talent and willingness for tricks, and has thrown some nice show poses :) She's a well rounded, very kind dog.

Quasar Show Name - Horizon's Watch Out Star Gender - Female Breed - 4th gen Dachshund/Great Dane Birthday - February 1, 2001 Parents - Tuner x Wicket Past - born in Petz 4 What a suprise!! Grey! Wicket and Tuner's first offspring that wasn't red! I assume she gets her color from her grandfather on Tuner's side, Blue, who was a steel blue (grey) Dane. Quasar is a happy, rollicking dog (literally.. when she runs it's adorable!! She moves almost like a rocking horse). She likes to hang her tongue out of her mouth, and looks to her big sis Raquet for guidance and comfort. She's not full grown yet, but will prove to be very pretty when she is :)

Que Show Name - Horizon's ______ Gender - Female Breed - 5th gen. Dachshund/Dane/Bull Dog/Dalmation Birthday - February 14, 2001 Parents - Bocce x Avenue Past - born in Petz 4 Que will be super-cute, and I have no doubts she'll be a very kind dog, too :) She heavily resembles her grandparents on her mother's side, with the spots of a Dal and the facial features of a Bull Dog. She also has Wickey's short legs. Too, too cute!!
