Pestida is a Finnish alt-pop band, whose music has been characterised with words ranging from "melancholic, introspective pop" to "weird progressive grunge".

At the moment Pestida is a three-piece group with Jari Käkelä on vocals and guitar, Juuso Vierikko on drums and Mikki Lehtovaara on bass.

In 2001 Pestida finally completed a demo CD containing 4 songs. It is available at request by contacting pestida@angelfire.com
