Owen County Amatuer Radio Association (OCARA)

Owen County Amateur Radio Association (OCARA) is an informal and friendly organization which invites and encourages all who have an interest in amateur radio to attend our monthly meetings. Our members encourage and will assist anyone with interest in the development of amateur radio skills.

OCARA is a general interest association, supporting many activities, without direct affiliation with any! OCARA sponsors a repeater, but is not a repeater club; many of our members belong to the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), yet we are not associated with it. OCARA supports all the diversities that amateur radio presents.

Full membership is open to all licensed operators for $12.00 per year, per member. Associate memberships are $6.00 per year, for all others with interest in amateur radio. Associate members are only restricted in that they cannot hold office nor vote for club officers.
