Introduction
Keeping an aquarium will prove to be a very challenging task, and is not a decision to be taken lightly. If you consider yourself responsible and reliable, then there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to keep fish in your home. Fish keeping is a hobby for everyone, both the young and old alike. The thousands of varieties of fish and plants now available means there's something to offer all people, from keeping goldfish to marine corals- the opportunities are endless. This website will concentrate on freshwater tropical fish, and will hopefully give all the information required to help in setting up a tank.

It should be considered that it will take much time and effort and more importantly money. Tropical aquariums require filters, heaters, lights and pumps, as well as decor, plants and numerous water treatments. However if you have this cash and patiece, there is no reason why you can't have your aquarium up and running within a month. One thing i feel i must add, is that its not always easy, so don't be surprised if things go wrong at first. It took nearly 2 years before I got my main tank set up the way I wanted it, but after many mistakes (and sadly some deaths), I can say that after watching my newly acquired blue discus swimming happily around their new home, its all been well worth it.

This is a new site, and for this reason, updates will constantly be added. If anyone has any suggestions and how i can improve the site, let me know. I am also open to any ideas for new pages and topics people wish to know about, and if you send me an e mail, I will include them as soon as possible.

Hi, sorry there's been no updates for a while but I've been busy. But loads of new pages and photos are due to be uploaded soon, as well as the section on plants. I've recently set up a new tank and will be adding pictures of my new inhabitants within the next few weeks. If any one has any requests for new areas on the site, now would be a great time to drop me an email.
