The criteria that will be considered in awarding The Jailhouse Lawyer's Liberty Award is as follows;
Site must be in English - no translations, please, since grammar counts and translators are unreliable in that regard;
You must be 18 or older;
Site must somehow promote freedom and individual liberty as outlined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights;
Site must not contain racist, hateful, or obscene material;
Site should be a minimum of 5 pages, not including splash or entrance page (if used);
Site must contain a minimum of broken links (no more than 2 per page);
Site should not contain bad grammar nor a significant number of misspellings (more than 3 per page);
Excessive load time, excessive animations (more than 5 per page, not including advertising), excessive banner advertising (on any page), or excessive webring displays (on the home page) will result in disqualification;
Sites that are only collections of links, regardless of how helpful, will not be considered;
Site will be reviewed on both content and design.
