Welcome to the unofficial Web site for Kayenta, Arizona. Kayenta is the gateway to Monument Valley, the eighth wonder of the world. Monument Valley is 30 miles north of this town of 4,922 residents.

You can hike The Toes, rock formations similar to those you would find in Utah. You can admire the beautiful scenery. A two-screen movie theater shows the latest films. You can walk to one of the many restaurants: Golden Sands, Amigo Cafe, The Blue Coffee Pot, the Holiday Inn's Wagon Wheel Restaurant, or the Hampton Inn's Reubin Cafe. The food is great, and the walk isn't very far from any part of town.
