John is the founder of the Ridgedale Shakespeare Festival and has directed or appeared in each
production since the beginning. A former Oakland County Commissioner and Magistrate, he is an
attorney in private practice in Waterford.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/STAGE MANAGER
.......................................... RALPH ROSATI
Ralph Rosati is well known face in area theater. He has directed and appeared in productions in every part
of the metropolitan area. At Ridgedale, most recently, he appeared as the gravedigger in last year's production of Hamlet.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR .......................................... JO CHONKO
Jo Chonko is a talented director, actor and Ridgedale's technical whiz-kid. His advice is sought for every production at
Ridgedale Players. His onstage roles include last year's production of Hamlet where he played Bernardo.
PRODUCER .......................................... MIKE JEFFRIES
Mike Jeffries is on the board of directors for Ridgedale Players and is the Chairman of the 2003 Shakespere
Festival. He has performed in past festival productions including The Taming of the Shrew and As You Like It.
In addition, he has appeared in numerous non-shakespearean roles for Ridgedale Players as well as other area theater groups.
PROSPERO .......................................... GREG BOWMAN
Greg is a popular performer at Ridgedale having appeared in Foxfire, Heaven Can Wait, The Mousetrap
and Macbeth. He also played Theseus at last year's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
He has just completed producing Foxfire for Ridgedale Players.
MIRANDA .......................................... MIMI JEFFRIES
Mimi is an accomplished actress, having appeared in more than thirty productions including the
Ridgedale Players Shakespeare Festival and Meadowbrook Theatre. She has won the Young
Playwright Competition at Meadowbrook Theatre in both 2001 and 2002.
She is a drama student at Yale.
ARIEL .......................................... SHANNON JOHNSON
Shannon appears on the Ridgedale stage for her first time. She is a graduate of Waterford Mott High School
and has been active in theater there as well as with Pontiac Theater IV. Her numerous credits include Guys
and Dolls, The Sound of Music, The Matchmaker, and Hemingway's The Fifth Column.
ALONSO .......................................... BRIAN MCCOWN
This is Brian's Fourth production here at Ridgedale. He has appeared recently in Heaven Can Wait, and Wake
Up Darling, Last summer, he played Marcellus in the Festival's production of Hamlet.
SEBASTIANA .......................................... LEAH INABNITT
Leah makes her debut performance at Ridgedale but is no stranger to the stage. Most recently she played Lise
in the Village Players production of Cyrano DeBergerac.
ANTONIA .......................................... CYNDY GRESHEK
Cyndy is a well known performer in the Warren area having appeared in 42nd Street, The Wiz and Oliver.
She also headed up the Warren Woods tech crew from 1991-1997. This is her first appearance on the Ridgedale stage.
FERDINAND .......................................... TOM ROWLAND
Tom is a regular performer in the Ridgedale Shakespeare Festival. He has appeared in both
The Taming of the Shrew and As You Like it. Other credits include Pickering in My Fair Lady
and Hemingway's, The Fifth Column, which he directed as well as Starred.
ADRIAN .......................................... ERIC SALVADOR
This is Eric's first appearance on the Ridgedale stage.
CALIBAN .......................................... BEN FELICIANO
Ben is a well known performer at Macomb Community College where he has performed in a dozen productions.
Most recently, he appeared as Christian in The Village Players Production of Cyrano De Bergerac.
This is his first appearance at Ridgedale.
TRINCULO/BOATSWAIN .......................................... NICK HIGGINS
Nick is a talented actor whose recent credits include Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady
as well as Grumio in The Taming of The Shrew and LaBeau in As You Like It for
Ridgedale Players Shakespeare Festival. Nick is a student at U of M Flint.
