What music do you listen to when you paint? Honestly? Usually none. Usually when I am painting I am listening to BBC or CNN. I have to stay in touch with the real world. When I do listen to music, I listen to Within Temptation, Black Eyed Peas, Sugababes, Loreena McKennitt, Heather Nova, Biff Naked, Betty Blowtorch, Shampoo, Michelle Branch, and random metal. I am also a hufe fan of Christina Aguilera! What inspires you Old fashioned stories, like Little Women, Lord of the Rings, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen and Lewis Carroll. Also lyrics in songs, emotions and clothes. Cartoons also play a big role in my art, Jem, Barbie, Lady Lovely Locks, Maxi's World, My little Pony etc. Do you have a favorite painting or artist? Oh yes! Many many many! I love Waterhouse, Mallais, Rosina Wachtmeister, Melcom Brown, Shag, Rossetti. Here is Mallais's Ophelia, the lovely Lizzie Siddal as the model. *edit* I actaully saw the real thing in London- Oct 2006!
