Brandon Dunlap: Death Bunny Series. Ceramic
Up the Dosage:
Multi-media work by Brandon Dunlap,
Paul Pavlovich, and Brandt Elling Peters

September 6-28, 2002
Opening Reception: Friday, September 6, 7-10pm

Local artists Brandon Dunlap, Paul Pavlovich, and Brandt Elling Peters will showcase a variety of paintings and hand-pulled prints along with sculpted toys and figures. All three display a strong neo-pop sensibility in their work. Dunlap is a prolific painter, printmaker, and ceramicist currently in the Master's program at the University of South Florida; his work has a dark nature that contrasts with his candy-colored palette and playful, cartoon-like imagery. Pavlovich is an accomplished illustrator and designer whose talents cross over into the fine arts arena; his work is figurative and often plays on emotion and human nature. Peters also has a strong illustration and design background; as a self-taught artist, he has created a strong animated style that focuses on sociological satire.
