Welcome to Estonia

We are located in idyllic and peaceful farmland in the village of Are in Southern Estonia.

We are positioned just 12km away from the popular spa resort town of Pärnu and 90 minutes from the magical medieval wonders of Estonia's capital Tallinn, the oldest capital in Northern Europe.

The farmhouse contains all of today's modern facilities yet manages to retain the character of an age gone by.

Facilities

accommodation tent place silence
catering bicycles open 24h
sauna car rent phone
shower TV washing machine

We are open year round, which will give you an opportunity to witness the seasonal changes of this charming country.

Pärnu beach the best in the Baltic.

It is Pärnus' Beaches, Spas and Mud Baths that have been attracting people to these shores for centuries.

Bronzed bodies pack the beaches by day in summer and party by night through until morning.

In the winter, the sea is dotted with numerous ice fishermen who drive their cars hundreds of metres from shore on the ice cap to find the perfect spot.

Recreation

Tours in the surrounding area and beyond can also be arranged in advance.

In the summer when you're done sun bathing, you could try your hand at playing beach volleyball and swimming on one of the areas most picturesque beaches.

Walking in the woods looking for berries and mushrooms is also a popular pastime.

The surrounding lakes, islands and area also offer plenty of opportunity for sightseeing, golf, boating and fishing.

If you're feeling more energetic, you could try rollerblading along the promenade in Pärnu. What about Go-Karting on the Pärnu Ring.

Calories to burn? What about mountain biking. Estonia is a flat even land of forests and streams so you spend less effort pedalling and more time taking in the sights.

Getting Here

International connections include Easyjet who fly from Berlin and London to Tallinn and Ryanair who fly into Riga (Latvia). Estonian Air and Air Baltic also offer convenient services to the rest of Europe.

(A well known budget airline is currently considering flying direct from London to Pärnu. We'll keep you posted on this.)

There are fast ferry connections to Helsinki and Stockholm.

Buses connect Pärnu to Riga and St. Petersburg and there is an overnight sleeper service to Moscow.

The Via Baltica Highway runs from St. Petersburg through Pärnu and onto Warsaw which connects with the European Road Network.
