Chris Farlowe of Atomic Rooster

Mr Elusive, Chris Farlowe!
Early bands The Thunderbirds and Colosseum.
Early hits "Out of Time" and as Little Joe Cook "Stormy Monday"
Chris, an already very experienced vocalist from a soul based background, was recruited into the Atomic Rooster ranks by Vincent in February '72. His style of singing suited the musical direction that Vincent was leading Rooster.Chris sang on both Made In England and Nice N' Greasy '73. His very much unique style of vocals led Rooster up to '74. During his stay in the Rooster ranks Chris contributed his unique vocals plus,of course his anorak, which it is rumoured contained plenty of "eats" to last each gig!
After Rooster Chris has continued recording and performing as the Chris Farlowe Band and others!
78: Sings theme tune to TV series Gangsters.
82: Sings on musical score for Death Wish II
and very recently appeared at The Buxton(UK)Jazz & Blues Festival -May '00.
