This listing is taken from the book "Of Grave Importance - Cemeteries of Baxter County, Arkansas" published by the Baxter County Genealogical Society in 19__. This list has some errors (as would be expected) and only goes through 1981 or so. I will note in brackets any errors that I can prove through my own transcription of the headstone inscriptions and other sources (newspaper, census, etc.). This combined cemetery census was done by a group and individual who were taking down information from many cemeteries and were probably in a hurry to get as much information as they could without spending a lot of time on the details (such as verses, etc.). I hope that my transcription is a closer representation of the true inscriptions. I have typed in the information below as closely as possible to the original. Where the additional information was listed next to the name - I have listed after the dates. I added the bold type to the surname. Where the original has errors in missing brackets, b-, periods, etc. I have also left them off.

"Fluty Cemetery
Fluty Cemetery is located near Gamaliel. Take Highway 101 to County Road #43 -Fluty Road, and go 2 1/2 miles. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road. This is a very old cemetery with markers dating from 1800s. The Fluty family was buried there, from 1873 to 1904.
The cemetery survey was made by the Cameo Club in May 1968. Donald S Hubbell, Jr. also inventoried the cemetery before 1981, and his findings are incorporated with the original survey and are shown in bold print {My note: not in bold print on this page.}
