Jacob and Catherine Piatt Barker
Catherine Piatt was born c1815 in Virginia or West Virginia. Catherine's father was said to be born in Connecticutt and her mother in Pennsylvania. She married Jacob Barker who was born c1815 in Virginia. He may have been the son of Elijah and Tabetha Piatt Barker who lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania and then Belmont County, Ohio.
Jacob and Catherine had the following known children:
- Samuel K Barker b: c1838
- Elizabeth Barker b: c1844
- James K Barker b: c1848 d: 1946 Franklin Co, OH
- George Barker b: 1848
Jacob Barker was found in the 1850 census in Adams County, Ohio.
Catherine Barker was living with her son, James, on the 1880 census of Belmont County, Ohio.
