  • MISERY - A song about having a relationship that is less than desirable. One that eventually makes you hate one another.
  • DOWNER - A song about being turned away for the small things. This song points out the hipocrisy and blatantly stupidity of people in modern society.
  • ELEGY - The story of woman who dies. Her spirit comes back only to spend eternity in repentance and regret.
  • WAR MACHINE - THIS SONG DOES NOT (REPEAT: DOES NOT) GLORIFY WAR. WAR IS A VERY VERY HORRIBLE THING THAT SHOULD BE USED SPARINGLY AND AS A LAST RESORT.IN NO WAY DOES THE DYING BREED CONDONE WAR. War Machine is a tribute to Fear Factory and about Satan Ball, a game in which the competitors means are justified by their ends.
  • NEVER GOOD ENOUGH - A song about people and their insatiable desires (mainly hippies). The song tells of how people can try their hardest and still never be enough to make people happy.
  • DAWN OF THE MARTYR - A song about a man who leads his people to glory at the cost of his life.
  • REVENGE - A song that perpetuates the very idea that people can stab each other in the back, but they can't get away with it.
  • LIVERWURST - ...Self explanitory.
