Episode Guide

This Episode Guide may contain spoilers (ooops!) due to the fact that I may summarize some of the Episodes and the fact that I get carried away sometimes, but rest assured I will do my best to make it still worth watching. In addition, this guide was inspired by Urbane's YUA site TV Series Info. Although I have watched all the TV episodes of Taiho Shichauzo (You're Under Arrest), all titles of each episode, with little revisions on my part,  will be taken and credited to him (Urbane's YUA site TV Series Info) because I cannot efficiently translate each episode title. Also, there will be screenshots for each episode to guide you. Please check back, I will be uploading the screenshots for each File very soon.

On a personal note, it is always better to watch the Anime, this only serves as a guide to help you but there are always certain limitations this guide can do that of which it cannot truly express the emotion, excitement and comedy of this Anime. It can only help to some extent. But don't let this stop you, come on...read on!!!

Note: Taiho Shichauzo (You're Under Arrest) uses the term File instead of episode.

This Guide contains 51 Files including the first 4 OAVs which are considered Files 1-4.

File 1: And They Met

The first File tackles how our two favorite Tokyo Police Officers got paired up. It starts with Natumi's first day on the job (who is extremely late as usual), Natsumi pressured by the impression on being late on first day decides to make a couple of illegal shortcuts (like taking a moto-compo for a ride on a pedestrian bridge). Naturally she is spotted by Miyuki who happens to be patrolling the area and thus a chase begins. After all the action, Natsumi Tsujimoto is presented to the station as Bokuto Station's newest officer since Miyuki Kobayakawa who was stationed nearly a few weeks ago. Anyway they meet the Fox and thus starts a heart-pounding first day for the duo.

File 2: Tokyo Typhoon Rally

It seems the weather has been rather rough lately nonetheless it seems Miyuki and Natsumi are settled in and are making a fine team. The trouble starts when a lunatic who likes to cause chaos with his Delta-Lancia is terrorizing the streets and is causing accidents everywhere. Aside from that, Miyuki and Natsumi have another crisis on their hands, its chibi (a small kitten / maybe a cat) is taken ill and is found to be pregnant. Due to our heroes valiant character, they try to race the cat to the veterinarian. Unfortunately, on the way to the vet, who else could have had the best timing to show up, it's the Delta-Lancia! How on earth can they make it to the vet in time?

File 3: Love's Highway Stars

This may very well be my favorite File of the 4 OAVs because it tackles the relationship between Miyuki and Ken Nakajima. As you may notice in the first two Files, Ken and Miyuki have certain affections for each other. The File starts when Miyuki is rumored to have a marriage meeting (and who else would you think would be spreading this gossip?). In reality, she is only going to a reunion with her high school friends, Natsumi with nothing else better to do takes Nakajima biking in order to get to you Miyuki. They eventually don't make it because in all the confusion they get lost and end up arriving in the early morning together causing a tremendous scandal, how on earth will the Bokuto Station's favorite couple get back together again?

File 4: On the Road Again

It's a typical day in busting traffic offenders for Miyuki and Natsumi, but what really is going on in Natsumi's head is her desire of being a white bike trooper (motor cop). Soon enough her big chance comes when the chief offers her a recommendation of becoming a white bike trooper. Of course, being a white bike trooper isn't all that it's cut out to be, she has to leave the station and transfer to headquarters and this decision would mean leaving Miyuki alone who really likes Natsumi. Finally after a week's time, she decides to grab the opportunity leaving Miyuki devastated and not confident in herself anymore...when's Natsumi coming back?

File 5: The Beauty, his Name is Aoi

One thing noticeable with anime is that they usually have a character that is from the third sex (gay!). Anyway back with the File: There's a new officer stationed in Bokuto Station, tall, tan, young, lovely and he, YES it's a HE?!? is gay! Woah not only that, because of his undefined nature problems are brewing whether which locker and shower room he should be using. Guess it's up to the chief to sort this whole mess up.

File 6: Superintendent from Hell

Oh no, prepare all you delinquent untidy officers of Bokuto Station for today is judgment day, it's the day superintendent Arizuka, probably the most feared officer in all of Japan is coming for inspection. He has the reputation of sending  delinquent officers to remote islands, unfortunately for Natsumi she's just had another of her hang-overs and Bokuto Station is not what you would exactly call a model station in terms of cleanliness. How the heck are they getting out of this mess this time, they'll be lucky if they each get sent on a separate island at the rate they clean up!

File 7: Strike-Man Appears

This guy shouldn't really be in this anime, I don't like him. Really sorry if it's a bit straight but not only is he dense but the most ignorant and misguided fool you'll ever see. Well this is his debut performance and we get to know the person called home-run woman! When will Miyuki and Natsumi ever lock this guy up? He's causing more trouble himself than what he says he's trying to prevent, not only that but chaos comes when Bokuto Station actually thinks Ken Nakajima is the Striker, what an insult to Ken of course!

File 8: Lucky Yoriko's Great Match

Yes, that's right, the nosey gossip spreader Yoriko is actually lucky. Wow, she was actually at the top of her class in the academy? It's quite funny really but as the File goes, Yoriko seems to get lucky at everything from the target practices to the judo and the final exams, what luck. And now, it's time to meet your match! Chie Sagamori, a rich spoiled girl who entered police academy to be famous in society challenges Yoriko to the duel of her life because Yoriko, who topped the academy was the only one who beat Chie (not to mention her dreams and everything).

File 9: Ken's Mystery Woman

Uh-oh, Ken's got a woman of his own and it isn't Miyuki! It starts as Yoriko spots trouble as Ken is frequently hanging out at a cigarette shop with a cute little owner, the gang starts investigating and theoretically concludes Ken's going to be proposing to the saleslady at the rate he's going, How on Earth is Bokuto's number one couple making it out of this one alive?

File 10: Opera-Madam's Scooter Crisis!

Here we go, another annoying useless character is added to the list (with Striker in first place). This old lady seems to have a thing for shopping, and not just any ordinary shopping but discount shopping. There's nothing wrong with discounts unless maybe you drive really recklessly to make it to the sale in time? Thank God anyway that some guy finally decided to steal her scooter and prevent anymore innocent lives from harm on the road. Unfortunately, it's going to be Natsumi and Miyuki's job to find it!

File 11: The Santa from Hell!

It's Christmas time in Bokuto and everyone is wishing for Santa to give them happiness, everyone except the kids that is. Maho's house was robbed one night and who do you think the main suspect is? Santa Claus! Miyuki and Natsumi have to clear Santa's name to restore the kids' spirit of Christmas by catching the phony Santa Claus. To make things worse, Santa Claus Man (Striker) has joined in for the hunt! Let's hope Christmas is not completely ruined by these chain of events.

File 12: Saori's Appearance

There is a new aspiring officer in town, it's none other than Saori, a misguided soul who feels worthless and just wants to find her place in the world. After a couple of experiences with Miyuki and Natsumi, she decides she wants to be an officer. Unfortunately she does not qualify in terms of age, height and weight but this won't stop our determined little girl. Let's see what kind of trouble she will get in to by playing detective.

File 13: Hot springs Resort

The whole Traffic Control Department has gone on vacation to a hot springs resort recommended by Ken Nakajima. This place is just all fun,  there is snowboarding and skiing as well as Hot springs. The officers start to party at night and eventually get drunk, here's the problem, all their money goes missing! If they don't find it in time, this will be the biggest scandal in Bokuto's history. What's more is that it is up to Miyuki and Natsumi to find the money because they are the only ones sober enough left.

File 14: Manjou are Scary!

The girls are able to find a box of untouched manjou in the fridge, they all agree to eat it at tea time. To everybody's surprise that day, Natsumi was the one who volunteered to prepare the tea, seems suspicious indeed. Actually, all she wanted was to eat the manjou all to by herself. She indeed consumes every bite of manjou until one officer spots her and surprises her, she then falls unconscious. Thus starts her manjou nightmare back in the Edo period.

File 15: Chie's Rematch Challenge

It's time once again to see if Yoriko is as lucky as she really is because here comes Chie with a vengeance. Chie challenges Yoriko, Natsumi, Aoi and Miyuki to a sort of war game using paint balls. The objectives are simply to knock either Chie or Yoriko out, but guess who is on Chie team? The spoiled girl used her money and influence to recruit female mercenaries from across the globe just to prove that she is better than Yoriko. Let's see how Yoriko gets out of this one using her luck.

File 16: Mystery Biker

One morning, Miyuki accompanies Natsumi to break-in her new bike. Along the way, Natsumi is challenged and so the race is on. In a short while, Natsumi loses and the two girls wonder who this mystery biker is only to realize that he has the same riding style as Ken Nakajima! The next day, things get to become more and more weird when news had spread out that Ken has quit the force and became a full time biker. It was a long day for both Miyuki and Natsumi wanting to get to the bottom of things and finally they found the guy who holds the key to this whole mystery, the mystery biker! They chase him and right before they were about to lose him, Ken shows up and saves the day, he stops the mystery biker by saying "Stop! I know it's you DAD!"

File 17: Mom's only 20?

Natsumi and Miyuki offers to cook dinner for Nakajima for some reason because they say he does not get enough nutrients, upon arriving at Ken's house they are all shocked, especially Miyuki, when they saw a young woman (Sena) cleaning the place up and greeting Ken. They soon find out that he is Ken's soon to be mother and that she will marry Daimaru (Ken's father) if Ken is able to call her mother which is not at all appealing to Ken being the bashful person he is. How is Sena going to get the word mother out of Ken's mouth?

File 18: The Strike Girls

The Striker is back and as if one Striker is not enough he has gone recruiting people to join him, what's more he is recruiting kids! He first finds a group of boys who immediately shun him away. Still full of it, the Striker meets a couple of girls, later that day Miyuki and Natsumi get tips of incidents where grade school boys are being punished publicly, Striker Style! They get really confused because this is not how the Striker operates, following the pattern of events they are able to find out who is really doing all these, none other than the Strike Girls!

File 19: ZAPPER Retrials

Natsumi is on the way to the ZAPPER bike shop where Daimaru, Sena, Ken and Miyuki are waiting to celebrate the opening of Daimaru's new bike shop, on the way she cuts her clutch wire. After a few kilometers she sees an old bike shop and inside she meets an old mechanic. The mechanic confiscates her bike and tells her to come back when she is ready to fix it by herself. They soon find out that he is the best mechanic in Japan and was Daimaru's mechanic when he was still racing. They discover that the reason he quit being a professional racing mechanic was because of a bike that Daimaru crashed and never reached the finish line, that day Natsumi proves that dreams are always achievable.

File 20: Sentai Battle!

It's Traffic Safety Workshop time once again in Bokuto and the officers are practicing for a presentation to teach basic traffic safety rules to kids. During the show, a mysterious gang of monsters called the Kuroda Monster Group appears and sabotaged the whole show. In the end, the girls were able to counter it and beat up the monsters, the kids enjoyed it thinking it was part of the show and as a result learned the traffic safety rules.

File 21: Natsumi & Miyuki: The Bank Robbers!

This is one of my favorite episodes, it starts with Miyuki and Natsumi robbing a bank, but in reality they are just part of a Police Training Simulation where they were specifically requested by Chief Inspector Arizuka to perform a robbery with no rules, no limitations and no limits! The two were naturally excited and immediately agreed to the proposal made to them. Since we are talking about Miyuki and Natsumi here, were not talking of just a simple robbery, were talking big time! We all know how Miyuki is a mecha-freak and all, so she brings all her gear along for the job; jammers, sensors, tracers, decoders...you name it, she's got it. Add Natsumi to all those gadgets and you've got a practically full proof plan. It's hilarious how the Metro Police's plans are easily thwarted by Miyuki and Natsumi. This simulation training ends however when the two start to escape and head for their hide-out (Bokuto Station), will they make it in time and win the training?

File 22: Yoriko's Day off

There is a revolution occurring somewhere in a middle-eastern nation where a prince has defected and escaped to Japan, suddenly he disappears and the Police are requested for a search. While back in a small apartment, Yoriko has got her day-off! She's very excited and has got everything almost planned out. She takes a walk and meets a guy in trouble of being arrested for not paying his meal, she notices his good-looks and decides to pay the bill instead. After paying, the guy suddenly disappears into nowhere, fortunately she runs into him later in the day. After a long day of touring the guy around they got to know each other, but later she learns that he is the prince the station is looking for. The prince decides to go back to his country (thanks to Yoriko) and upon his departure expresses his feelings for Yoriko.

File 23: Sena and Daimaru's Wedding

The day has finally come for Daimaru and Sena to get married, the whole police station is invited and they are all excited about it. But before the wedding occurs, Daimaru's friend and Minister of the wedding decides to the some wacky ritual or tradition where guys would get on motorbikes and balance themselves at speeds of about 1kph, the winner of this turtle race will get to kiss Sena, the bride. Unfortunately, Daimaru cannot join because he is the groom so he asks Ken to do it leaving Miyuki feeling down. In the end, Ken won and got the chance to kiss the bride but unknown to him and about everybody else, Sena let Miyuki be the one to kiss Ken in her gown (smart girl!). This is a very lovely episode where love is truly in the air.

File 24: Aoi-chan's Romance?

A famous actor named Go Kitanokoji is made the honorary one-day chief for Bokuto Station and guess who is requested to be his personal bodyguard...Aoi! The two love birds met exactly one year ago when Go Kitanokoji was also the one-day chief. I guess Go fell in love with Aoi because of her "beauty" and her love for white roses which among most flowers represent respect instead of love. Finally Go proposes to Aoi who is shocked but just had to tell Go the truth...you know what I mean.

File 25: Striker: Strike's Back!

Once again, the defender of justice is back, the wonder-boy striker!!! We all know this guy is dense and all, but this time he is the one committing crime instead of upholding justice as he calls it. Why you ask, well there is this pair of criminals who trick the striker into robbing a loan company who according to them are loan-sharks who make people miserable. Anyway, Miyuki and Natsumi are on the case and have set-up a trap for the Striker in order to lead them to the mastermind of this foul plot.

File 26: Red Dress and a Knife

Mr. Tokuno of the investigation department is asking the help of the traffic department in a case he is working on regarding a certain maniac who slashes red-dresses during parties. Naturally the bait would be none other than Aoi who has experience in these matters. And so the trap is set on a cruise ship where a party is held.  Aoi looks really beautiful while her partner Nakajima is in awe. The two try to attract attention by dancing while Miyuki, Yoriko, Natsumi and the Chief are undercover as back-up. After the dance, Aoi goes to the washroom alone and then a strange man shows up who tries to molest Aoi, unfortunately for him Aoi is quick on her feet and gives him a good one in between the legs... you know where that is! Mr. Tokuno goes aboard the ship and arrests the guy and allows the officers the rest of the night off. Now Miyuki gets dressed and moves to the party but suddenly a new figure emerges with a knife! It looks like the guy they arrested a while ago was just a pervert and so Miyuki is faced with the real maniac alone in the corridor with nowhere to escape.

File 27: ABC Driving School!

Screech...Vrooom...Aaaahhhh!!!!! These are the sounds heard from a driving school's obstacle course when a car is being tested by none other than Natsumi Tsujimoto. Natsumi is applying for a license to get ready for on the road driving, but the question really is the road ready for her. Natsumi has been passing her exams despite the fact as Miyuki would say "she drives a car like she drives a bike!" The instructor is always terrified out of his wits when driving with Natsumi. At the end of the test he would faint while carelessly marking the test sheet with a passing grade in order not to undergo that horrific ordeal once again. On the day Natsumi gets her final exam which is on the road practice, her ultimate test appears when a hit-and-run accident occurs and she has to pursue the suspect since she is a police officer.

File 28: Thief #704

There is a thief loose in Tokyo who does not steal from ordinary citizens rather he steals from senior citizens, what a terrible guy! Anyway, the Traffic Department has  been mobilized to interact with the senior citizens in order to make them aware of the situation. Unfortunately enough, the thief decided to rob the same house Miyuki and Natsumi were visiting. However, this thief is prepared and wears a disguise that looks exactly like the old lady who lives in the house. No matter what tactic he tries to get rid of Natsumi and Miyuki, he is unsuccessful and ends up having dinner prepared by the two. Later in the afternoon, Ken arrives with yet another senior citizen who is an acquaintance of the old lady who lives in the house, thanks to the incessant chatter of the old lady, Miyuki realizes that the old lady is a fake and uncovers the disguise.

File 29: The Battle for Miyuki: Ken's Challenger!

It looks like our Bokuto Station's longest running  couple is facing another situation. It all starts when Sena asks her cousin to act as a suitor for Miyuki in order to make Ken move a little quicker in proposing to Miyuki. But when Sena's Cousin, Okazaki, meets Miyuki he too falls in love and thus starts Ken's rival. Okazaki makes an offer to race Nakajima, by the way Okazaki is a pro-bike racer. Whoever wins this race gets Miyuki! The stakes are hot and stage is set, will Ken be able to defend Miyuki?

File 30: Department Store Disaster

Miyuki and Natsumi spend the afternoon shopping and stop by a newly renovated mall with a mechanical clock doll as their main attraction. Suddenly, while the two were fitting in some dresses, an anonymous phone call is received saying that there is a bomb in the mall. The moment the two step out of the fitting room, the mall is empty! They were shocked and even thought that there was some sort of unexplainable phenomenon occurring. Finally they ran into Mr. Tokuno who immediately fills them in on the situation. It's a race against time to find the bomb which is set to explode at exactly 6:00 p.m. and towards the last few minutes get an unexpected hand from one of the most annoying characters in the series, the bargain scooter-lady, expert of every department store in Tokyo.

File 31: The Mysterious Suitcase

Mr. Tokuno is busying investigating a bacteria robbery over at the chemical lab, on the brighter side of things Saori and the kids are out playing a game of finding lost items and giving it to Miyuki and Natsumi. Saori, walking around the mall retrieves a suitcase inside an empty phone booth and after giving it to Miyuki and Natsumi is confronted by the supposed owner. A little later, the kids find a lost item and discover it was Saori's and also give it to Miyuki and Natsumi. What sort of mess is Saori into now? Back at Bokuto Station, they receive a phone call from Saori asking them to meet in the pier alone together with the suitcase she surrendered earlier. Miyuki gets a little suspicious and tries to open the case, however to everybody's surprise even Miyuki cannot open the suitcase?! Something very wrong is happening here!

File 32: Natsumi's New Supermachine

Natsumi is out testing her brand new RZ when suddenly she slides and breaks the bike. Miyuki advices her to instead buy a car which Natsumi seriously gives some thought. Later that evening, Miyuki sees Natsumi with her very own car, an old Subaru. Natsumi boasts the car's features like power steering, power clutch, power windows...power everything when in fact what she really meant was a window that needed a lot of power and a clutch that needed more power! Realizing Natsumi was ripped-off, Miyuki tries to cheer her up but no good, Natsumi is disappointed for a long time. Miyuki, knowing how thoughtful and sweet she is, tries to cheer Natsumi by giving her the perfect machine using the Subaru and installing the broken RZ parts into it. Natsumi was surprised and eternally grateful to Miyuki and they both decide to hunt down the phony car-salesman who tricked Natsumi and other people into buying junk cars.

File 33: Eeeek! It's Toki the Idol!

It was a quite and peaceful day until, help! help! help! Miyuki and Natsumi rush over and see a girl trapped in a phone booth with a convertible blocking the way. Natsumi uses her power to manually tow the car away after giving the onlookers a show of justice which was more likely inspired by too much cop movies. After a few minutes, the owner of the car arrives and suddenly everybody around Miyuki and Natsumi go nuts screaming Toki! Miyuki holds Natsumi back while confronting him to pay the fine for his disobedience to the regulations. Being a movie star and being full of it, Toki gets the violation ticket and signs it just like an autograph request. Later, back at the station, the two find out that Toki has no record whatsoever and that his violations are being erased. However this won't stop Miyuki and Natsumi from arresting Toki and so they set-up an elaborate trap to arrest Toki in front of newsmen and all the cameras.

File 34: Disaster at 250 Meters Part 1

This episode and the one after are somehow linked to the Taiho Shichauzo Movie  because the event is set at the Tokyo Tower. The Chief is on his day-off and is at the Tokyo Tower (as explained why in the movie), due to strong winds the top observation deck is closed for the day. Everyone including the chief was asked to go down using the elevator when suddenly a woman reports a pickpocket and therefore a search goes underway. During the search, a suspicious man is stared at by the Chief who later makes a run for it. Of course the Chief pursues him but the thief takes hostage one of the employees and uses his keys to the stairs going up to the roof of the observation deck which was an open area. The Chief races to save him and is able to do so with a kid helping him hold the door, unfortunately the strong wind warps the door shut locking the Chief and the kid outside and the thief inside, safe and sound. Due to the strong wind, the Chief and the kid try to hold on in order not to be blown away. The minute Bokuto Station learned about this, they immediately make a sortie and set-up a temporary camp at a temple right beside the Tokyo Tower. Read next episode for an detailed analysis of the situation.

File 35: Disaster at 250 Meters Part 2

Here is the scenario from the last episode, the Chief and a kid are stuck on the roof deck of the Tokyo Tower. A storm is brewing over Tokyo and no rescue teams are available at the moment leaving Bokuto at a loss. On top of that, the elevator of the Tokyo Tower has been shut down due to maintenance problems. Time is running out for the Chief because it is only a matter of time before he loses his strength and gets blown away. Fortunately a mountain rescue officer arrives at the scene and renders his services. Immediately a plan is set into motion where Natsumi and the Mountain Police Officer by the name of Shouji Toukairin are to climb their way up the stairs of the Tokyo Tower which by the way is exposed to the outside while Miyuki is fixing the elevator. Shortly, the two rescuers are on their way and even Natsumi has a hard time while Toukairin on the other hand is having a walk in the park. They finally reach the top and use blow torches to open and save the Chief together with the boy! It's the first episode Natsumi and Toukairin are in action together!

File 36: Maho-chan's lost Kitty (chibi)

It starts out a peaceful quite day where the kids are out playing in the park after school. Maho is reading a book called Sleeping Beauty while the other two boys are playing monsters. After reading the book, Maho suddenly realizes that chibi, her cat, is missing. Suddenly Ken arrives and asks what's up? After learning the situation, they start a search for chibi and ask Natsumi and Miyuki for help. At the end of the day and still no chibi, they call it a day and tell the kids to go home which they do not follow. On the way home, they played by the marina when suddenly Maho hears chibi and finds her inside a boat, Maho falls in while reaching for chibi. Due to Maho's fall, the boat's anchor loosens and the boat drifts away from the boardwalk. The two boys call Bokuto Station and Ken who was nearest was first to respond. I won't spoil the action but this is one of the best episodes because Ken looks really cool unlike before and all the officers are wearing blue uniforms just like in the movie.

File 37: Train Riding Pickpockets

The Traffic department of Bokuto station has been asked to investigate pickpocket activity along the Wangan and Yamanote Line. Only two officers were allowed for the job and it was none other than Aoi and Yoriko!? Well at least Miyuki and Natsumi still get to be back-up, anyway after a long day of back and forth train riding, the two end up catching molesters and disrespectful people instead of the pickpockets until suddenly the pickpockets strike! The two pickpockets go big time this time and steal a suitcase from a bunch of men and accidentally drop it discovering the contents to be two (2) guns. Now desperate, since they were being chased by Aoi and Yoriko, they hijack the train but to their surprise the guns turn out to be only model guns used for filming movies. Tough luck, they get beat up by Natsumi who dives right into the train thanks to Aoi and Yoriko's door opening skills.

File 38: The newest Officer, Toukairin

Well, he is not actually a new officer rather he was assigned to Bokuto for Rescue training classes. At first the day turns out to be pretty normal until Natsumi goes about the cafeteria challenging people for food through arm-wrestling. Everyone, knowing how strong she was, immediately declined and ate as fast as they can until one brave soul agreed to the challenge, namely Toukairin. The tables were hastily cleared for the big fight which surprisingly Natsumi loss. Everyone was both disappointed and shocked at the outcome thinking how could anyone possibly beat Natsumi? As the week goes on, Natsumi trains hard for a rematch to regain her pride and tries to show off during rescue training class where disaster tends to strike often.

File 39: The Challenge of Beach Volleyball Man

It's finally summer and Miyuki, Natsumi, Ken, Aoi and Yoriko decide to spend their summer vacation at the beach. It's just fate or more likely their tough luck that the Striker arrives as Beach Volleyball Man! They later learn about a volleyball event with a trip to Hawaii for 5 prize. Yoriko, pre-planned, enters Miyuki and Natsumi as well as the Striker and Nakajima into the contest. The contest was so far a piece of cake until the finals which really heated up since a bet was placed where winner takes off their mask or bikini in Natsumi and Miyuki's case! It's Miyuki and Natsumi vs. Striker and Ken in the ultimate beach volleyball match.

File 40: Triple Double Date

Finally Ken becomes man enough to ask Miyuki out and out to none other than the most romantic dating spot for couples! The episode would not be complete if Natsumi, Yoriko, Aoi and even the Chief did not spy on them which they did. While Ken and Miyuki carry on with their date, they spot Natsumi and get the feeling they are again being spied on. Anyway, since everyone was already there, they decided to try out a new attraction together. It was some sort of paint-ball war-game which involved them against monsters fueled by the passion to create a world filled with true love by  testing couples who go into their little jungle arena. Let's see how true love conquers all between Miyuki and Nakajima.

File 41: Renegade Cop Part 1

Violators are loose in the city but this time they have something other than the police to fear. A group of renegade police officers are out catching criminals using extreme methods ultimately wrecking vehicles in the process. Due to these, the civilians now think Bokuto is behind all this and that the police are involved in a sinister plot to create fear throughout the city. This case is not just any ordinary case, in fact it is so serious that Chief Inspector Arizuka assumes command of Bokuto and the case itself. Things take a  turn for the worse however when Nakajima is injured during pursuit of these renegades, it just got personal.

File 42: Renegade Cop Part 2

After Nakajima's injury to his leg, Arizuka suspends all officers from patrolling the streets. Natsumi however takes it upon herself and goes after the renegade cops using live ammunition. Just like Nakajima, she ends up injured upon pursuit and breaks her arm. Miyuki and the Chief who could not stand watching their comrades fall one at a time anymore start investigating leads and clues which may give them an idea of what they are up against. They find out that two years ago, three officers requested the creation of a special Traffic unit with unlimited access and no jurisdiction boundaries whatsoever, they were denied 13 times in two years time and then suddenly disappeared. Now they are back and no longer as officers but as renegades who are fanatically upholding traffic regulations at the expense of the civilian's safety. Bokuto together with Headquarters supervision initiated a plan of capturing these renegades using 250 police cars in total!

File 43: Bokuto Station Peeping Scandal

Something suspicious is going on in Bokuto Station, every officer has the feeling they are being watched. Could it be that spies are stalking Bokuto Officers? Possibly, but it is actually a group of kids creating a website called Bokuto Station Diaries featuring everyday activities of the Officers who according to the press solve cases one after the other. The Traffic Department however find it an invasion of privacy and initiate a hunt for the peeping toms only later to find out that it will turn out to be more than just what it seems... you will see what I mean.

File 44: Halloween at the Station (Bokuto Station Ghost Diaries)

It is late at night and Nakajima is working the nightshift. A car accident has just occurred outside the station and his fellow officers are telling him about a ghost wandering around the station at night. Nakajima at first does not believe any of the mumbo jumbo but while he was in the bathroom witnesses a sudden flash sweep through the window, not once but twice! Following morning, news of Nakajima's encounter has spread all around the station thanks to Yoriko and rumor has it he was found in a great big puddle inside the washroom! Nakajima is able to convince Miyuki, Natsumi, Yoriko and Aoi to help him investigate this ghost and stay over at the station. Later that night, they find themselves with the Chief who is doing overtime work fixing up their written apologies but ends up telling them ghost stories about Bokuto Station the whole night. After all the ghost stories, they decided to go home since they were going nowhere but then suddenly, Flash! a shadow sweeps through the window beside them...

File 45: The Summer of Keeping Promises

This is a real nice episode where Natsumi and Shouji are able to get to know one another and develop a liking for each other. It all starts when Oshou asks Natsumi and Miyuki to deliver a package to his mother in Ibaragi. However, Oshou managed to give the wrong package and so Toukairin catches up with them bringing along the right package. They end up spending dinner in Oshou's mother's house where they bought food since Natsumi and Shouji would empty her refrigerator in no time! Natsumi and Shouji went to go get some groceries while Miyuki stayed behind and cooked. Natsumi and Shouji were able to talk and understand each other and by the end of the day they both mutually developed a fondness for one another.

File 46: Training for Kendo

Shouji meets a  boy in the park when this  boy throws his bamboo sword into a tree and eventually hits Shouji's bike. When asked about it, the boy said he hated Kendo and did not want it anymore. The real reason actually is that he was beaten by a girl in Kendo class just a few hours ago. Shouji made a deal and told him that he could get the bamboo sword back the following day. The next day, Shouji challenged the kid and beat him by only using a banana, amazed at Shouji's skills, the boy along with his friends asked Shouji to teach them Kendo which he agreed to. It took several days and lessons to teach the boys but in the end the boy was able to defeat the girl that beat him just the other day and make friends with her once again.

File 47: Time Limit

It might very well be just another typical day in Bokuto Station but then everyone realizes Chief Officer Toukairin was not in and that he has completed all the rescue training classes for Bokuto Station. Later that day, a phone call comes in requesting Bokuto Station to assist in a rescue operation in a multi-vehicle accident inside a tunnel. Upon arriving at the scene, Miyuki and Natsumi are requested to immediately report to the one in charge. It turns out Toukairin was the one who called them and so they set out to rescue people inside the tunnel. After a while, it seemed everyone was out until a mother said that her child was still inside and so Shouji immediately rushes in the unstable tunnel without hesitation and Natsumi quickly follows. Other rescuers like Miyuki however were held back because it was too risky. Inside the tunnel, Toukairin tells Natsumi to go back because... a few stutters and then he admits that he cares for her. They are able to rescue the kid and get out safely, the officers plan to celebrate for a job well done when they realize Natsumi is missing. Shouji confesses to Natsumi that he will be leaving for the Himalayas and that he will miss her...

File 48: The End of Summer

The Station is throwing a farewell party for Chief Officer Toukairin and it is Natsumi's day-off. Natsumi remembered that Shouji will be leaving the following day for the Himalayas but hesitates to go to the farewell party. She bikes around Japan and returns to Ibaragi where she and Shouji spent memorable times together (File 45) and arrives back at the station when the party ended and Shouji is left alone. They decide to go out and spend the whole night drinking beer under the moonlight in the park together. The following day, the day where Shouji is departing for the Himalayas, Natsumi asks to be excused from her duties and races towards Narita Airport. These last few minutes of the episode are excellent and a different version of Love Somebody is played in the background. It's all about Natsumi racing to see Shouji just one more time and say goodbye to him.

File 49: Bokuto Theft Crisis Part 1: The New Arrival

A Luxury Car Theft ring is wreaking havoc in the metropolis and so Headquarters decides to set up a special unit right here in Bokuto Station. They send a hard-working officer to spearhead the operation and she is none other than Lieutenant Kinoshita as seen in Taiho Shichauzo The Movie and she will hopefully also be a mainstay in the second season. Due to this special unit, Miyuki and Natsumi are separated from each other because Miyuki is assigned to work in the station to work on escape routes and coordinate the vehicles when pursuing the thieves. Natsumi on the other hand is saddled up with Lieutenant Kinoshita on Patrol. After the events that occurred during the day together with talking to Lt. Kinoshita about careers and being police officers, Natsumi realizes that sooner or later she and Miyuki will eventually have to part ways. It ends when Natsumi and Miyuki chat in the roof top and Natsumi decides to try out Headquarters. (Actually just the thought of them separating made me feel a bit sad)

File 50: Bokuto Theft Crisis Part 2: Goodbye, Today.

This episode is a bit emotional especially for Miyuki because Natsumi is currently working at Headquarters with the Lieutenant and Miyuki feels a big hole missing in her life. Even Aoi, Yoriko and Nakajima are feeling how Miyuki is depressed and spending too much time with her car Today in order to fill in the gap Natsumi left behind. During patrol, Miyuki comes across the car thieves and damages Today upon pursuit. She talks to Daimaru about her car and how Natsumi and herself contributed to its growth. Miyuki then realizes that she could do whatever Natsumi could and so tries out weight lifting, bike riding, eating a lot and even challenging the Striker by hitting his "ball of justice." In the end, Nakajima comes and comforts her. I find it kind of vague when Miyuki and Ken talk about love and when Ken tells Miyuki he can never replace Today, not sure if I understand it right. Anyway, the whole station is mobilized to catch the thieves and when Miyuki walks toward Today Natsumi shows up and they mutually tell each other how they missed each other. Yes folks, their partners again!

File 51: Bokuto Theft Crisis Part 3: My Best Partner

This is the final episode where Miyuki, Natsumi along with the whole Bokuto Police Force run after the criminals. Detective Tokuno has spotted the thieves and notices a suspicious truck. They find out that the stolen cars are aboard the truck and so the chase begins. It is pretty much action packed when everybody pursues the truck along the highway. Nakajima, Yoriko and Aoi together with Miyuki and Natsumi are hot on the tail of the truck but the truck starts releasing it's load of Alfa Romeo and Mercedes Benz on the highway. Nakajima throws himself and his bike in front of a van in order to save Miyuki from being shot, this stunt injures Ken but also overturns the van. Aoi and Yoriko also get a piece of the action when a car pulls over and seems to have an injured driver, they pull over a check when suddenly Aoi is shot by the driver! It was all up to Miyuki and Natsumi to stop the thieves and they did with the help of Miyuki's home made tear gas. The episode ends with a special ending showing each character with Sora o Miagete playing in the background. By the way Aoi is still alive and the shot was not fatal as shown in the ending credits.

That is about it, I hope you enjoyed this episode guide. I had a lot of fun making it so I plan to make another one for Taiho Shichauzo Special and hopefully for the Second Season.
