This is the fifth Act of the manga that started the "Sailor Moon" phenomenon. It stars my favourite Inner Senshi, Sailor Jupiter! Any notes that I make based on the text will be in this colour; these notes are just for clarification and speculation. Enjoy!
Bunny is dreaming. She's in a fog. She thinks, "Where am I...? I think I'm...Bunny...aren't I? Someone's calling me...But this fog...I can't see! Who is it...?" Bunny sees a shadowed figure of a man in the fog.
Luna wakes Bunny up, telling her she'll be late. Bunny says, "Lately, I've been having such weird dreams..." The clock reads 4 o'clock (I don't know what she'll be late for...) Bunny introduces herself: "My name's Bunny. I'm 14 and I love to sleep." She and Luna then leave the house. It's raining. Bunny introduces Luna: "This is Luna, my talking cat. She's a worry-wart and a nag."
Luna tells Bunny that she should be a more responsible Scout. She tells Bunny that Tuxedo Mask may be an enemy, and should avoid him. Bunny blushes and says that he just shows up. She thinks, "Tuxedo Mask...Just hearing his name makes my heart pound...His warm hands...Being in his arms...It feels so natural; As if I've known him forever..."
Bunny, thinking about Tuxedo Mask, walks onto the road, not paying attention. A car approaches, and Luna yells "Bunny! Look out!" Suddenly, a tall girl with her hair in a ponytail (from the end of the last act) dashes in and picks up Bunny, saving her. She then places Bunny back on the street. She says, "You better pay attention!", and leaves. Bunny notices her rose earrings, saying they give off a nice smell.
At Crossroads Junior High, Molly is showing her friends pictures of her as a bride. Molly explains that her cousin's getting married, and the bridal shop at the mall let her try the dress on. Molly explains that her cousin (the bride) passed out, and the groom is missing. She says, "No one know what happened. It's shocking!" Molly then says, "But they say a June bride finds true happiness." Molly, Bunny and a friend all say "Ahh...I wanna be a bride!"
Bunny trips, and the girl who saved Bunny passes by. "Watch out!" she says. A teacher then comes up to the girl and says, "Hey you! That's your old school's uniform!" [Although the manga is in black and white, she's supposed to be wearing a white and brown uniform, while the Crossroad's uniform is blue, white, and red]. The girl says, "Yeah, the new one's too small." The teacher continues, "And we don't allow perms here!" The girl, pointing to her wavy hair, says, "This is natural!" She towers over the intimidated teacher.
Melvin comes over and tells Bunny about the new girl. He says, "She's the new transfer student! Rumor has it she was kicked outta her last school for fighting."
At lunchtime, Bunny and her friends decide to eat outside. Bunny notices that the new girl is sitting by herself. She spies on the new girl behind a tree, while a group of boys play baseball in the distance. Bunny (of course) notices the girl's delicious lunch. Suddenly, a baseball comes flying towards Bunny. The girl dashes up, and catches the ball that was about to hit Bunny. The girl throws (very far) the ball back to the boys saying, "Watch out!" The girl says, "It's you again...You've gotta wake up!" to Bunny. The girl then invites Bunny to share her lunch.
The new girl says, "By the way, thanks! For some reason, everyone's been too scared to talk to me. I just moved here...D'ya know some cool stores? How about a cool arcade...?" Bunny then invites the new girl to the arcade after school. After school, the new girl and Bunny go to the arcade. The new girl begins to play the Sailor V game (where an untransformed Sailor V is singing at a club). Amy meets them at the arcade.
The arcade guy comes and sees the new girl. "Bunny, who's your friend? Same school?" he asks. The new girl says, "I just transferred to Crossroads. Name's Lita...It's a pleasure...". The arcade guy replies, "Hi! My name's Andrew." Bunny confesses that she never knew Andrew's name. Andrew tells her just to call him Andy. Bunny says, "Andy? And your name's Lita...Lita...strong and a great cook!" Amy says, "Bunny, you airhead!" Luna says, "What a flirt...(she already forgot Tuxedo Mask)."
Amy tells Bunny about a strange rumour she heard about the bridal shop at the mall. All of a sudden, they're at the bridal shop [I don't know how that happened...]. Lita sees a wedding dress in the window. She says, "What a beautiful wedding dress on that mannequin...One day I'll wear one..." The three girls and Luna hear gossip from two ladies.
Lady 1: See that bridal shop?
Lady 2: That's the haunted one...?
Lady 1: That's right...it's haunted by the ghost of a dead bride! That mannequin floats around here after midnight...If there's a guy around, she'll seduce him! If a bride buys her dress here, the ghost will possess her. Her marriage will be doomed!
Lady 2: Well, forget buying my wedding dress here...
The three girls visit Raye's temple. Raye's grandfather makes an appearance. He's not bald (like in the anime), and he has a moustache. Bunny and Amy tell Raye about the rumours going around about the bridal shop. Raye notices something about Lita. Raye, when told about guys being seduced, says "Ghost or no ghost...if he gave in to temptation, it's his fault! I don't trust guys!" Lita says she has to go, and leaves. Raye says to Luna, "I think we may have found our next Scout..."
The next day, more rumours are heard about the ghost at the bridal shop. Bunny and Luna decide to check it out after school.
At the bridal shop during the night, a ghost in a wedding dress is walking down the stairs. The scene changes to Andy closing up the arcade. He notices a bride (the ghost), who tells him to look into her eyes. Lita is at a soda-pop machine, getting a drink. She turns around and sees Andy (who's possessed). He says, "Hey there, Lita! I've been waiting...Look into my eyes...I want you..." Darien is walking down the street in his school uniform with his reading glasses, reading a book. He notices Andy and Lita and a supernatural light, and quickly hides behind a wall. He takes offhis reading glasses.
The scene cuts to Bunny, who is sleeping. She wakes up to see Tuxedo Mask on her windowsill. She thinks, "Is this a dream..?! Tuxedo Mask...?!" Her heart begins to beat. Luna wakes up to see Bunny running away with Tuxedo Mask. Luna alerts Amy and Raye. Bunny and Tuxedo Mask arrive at the arcade, and see Andy and Lita enveloped in a strange light. Amy and Raye arrive. Bunny thinks, "Is that...the bride's ghost...?!" Bunny takes out the transforming pen. Bunny then says, "Luna, the enemy!! We've gotta save them!"
The ghost thinks, "Heh heh. Give me all your energy! Your body will be stuffed into a mannequin, and you will become slaves!" The missing men are revealed to be stuffed into mannequins.
Suddenly, a man with short, light hair appears. He's dressed in a tuxedo. He says, "Hey, bride! I'm your groom...Our wedding is waiting...in hell!" The man says, "MOON PRISM POWER! MAKE UP!" and transforms into Sailor Moon [Bunny disguised herself as a groom using the pen. She looks a cross between Jadeite and Haruka. ^.^]. Sailor Mercury and Mars are beside her. Sailor Moon says, "I won't let you dress up like a virgin bride and tempt men! Oh behalf of the moon, you're punished!", throwing off her face mask. Sailor Mercury says, "You can't use people - Your brains should be used to help people! You're punished! I'll cool your head with Mercury power!" and uses her fog. Sailor Mars says, "I won't let you take advantage of women! Here's the Mars Power flame of anger! I'll punish you in high heels!" and uses her flames.
Lita wakes up, and says, "Use? Take advantage? This wasn't for real...? I was used?!" Lita gets angry, and the sign of Jupiter appears on her forehead. "You think you can mess with a girl's heart?!" she says, and lifts the ghost bride above her head. Luna throws Lita a transformation pen. There's a bright flash, and then Lita is dressed in a sailor suit. Sailor Moon is shocked, and realizes that Lita is also a scout. Lita throws the ghost bride down on the ground.
Nephrite watches from above. "Heh. That's just my shadow...I'm over here!" Sailor Jupiter sees Nephrite, and uses her "FLOWER HURRICANE!", which is an attack of many flower petals. Nephrite is blinded by the attack. Then Sailor Jupiter says, "My protector, Jupiter, call on a storm! Thunder and lightning...!! Shower down!!" Jupiter's second attack is a bolt of lightning. It hits Nephrite, who dissolves and is killed.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom, a man with long wavy hair in a ponytail yells out "Nephrite!" as he watches Nephrite being killed. Another man with shoulder-length white hair stands nearby. "Zoisite, It's your fault for not using your head...You're an embarrassment. Really..." Zoisite says, "Kunzite!" Queen Beryl complains that Sailor Moon ruined her plans again, and again yearns for the Silver Imperium Crystal.
Back at the arcade, Sailor Jupiter stumbles, and Sailor Moon runs to her. Luna sees Tuxedo Mask, and thinks, "Tuxedo Mask...Did he bring Bunny here to save Lita...?! Who is he...?!" Andy wakes up, wondering where he was. The missing men in the mannequins also wake up. Sailor Jupiter begins to cry, saying, "I'm so dumb...My heart was broken by this guy...He went to my old school...Andy from the arcade...He looked so much like him...I changed schools because I felt something inside...The wind brought me here. Something much more important than lost love. That something important was waiting for me here." Sailor Mars says, "That's right. There's no time to cry over boys." Sailor Moon and Mercury welcome Sailor Jupiter to the team. Sailor Jupiter says, "Sailor Jupiter...Yeah...That's what I felt inside! I must fulfill my mission."
Sailor Moon notices Luna, who is glowing. Out from Luna's body comes a moon wand, which falls to the floor. Luna says, "Sailor Moon...we found four scouts...You must be their leader and protect the princess and the Silver Imperium Crystal!"
