Today is a special day for this boy, he's 10 years old today, and 10 months after diagnosis with histio! Every day is well worth celebrating! 
Today, at 5:15pm, I helped my soul mate cross the bridge. A year ago, Paxil was dx'd with Histiocytosis. During this past year he lived a FULL and wonderful life. It wasn't until recently he began to slow down and I believe his body was just "tired" and I could see a rapid deteriortation this past week. Today he just collapsed. He was ready. I will miss my boy...but I know in my heart I did everything one could possibly do short of giving him a new, healthy cancer free body. You were the best dog ever Paxil. Thank you for sharing soooo many happy, healthy years with me. Run free dear heart. |
