Legend of Basara

Far in the earth's future, mankind's civilizations have collapsed. Japan has reverted to ancient traditions, living in tribes and worshipping the old gods. In a remote village, two twin children — a boy and a girl — are prophesized to save the land from an approaching age of tyranny and oppression. Tatara, the boy, is brutally murdered by the evil Red King in a village raid. His sister, Sasara, takes up his quest to stop the Red King.
