Story Summary
Beautiful People is a collection of short stories.
- First is a story of a young man struggling to pay his bills when he meets a girl who claims to be a snow woman. He takes her in and she brings some needed joy into his life.
- Second, a story of 2 homosexuals of opposite sexes who managed to survive the world's end but are having trouble dealing with each other.
- Third story is about a high school boy whose only meaningful relationship is with a woman on the internet who is fond of the same children's book as he is.
- Fourth story follows a plain office lady who thinks a co-worker is stalking her.
- Fifth story is of a woman who felt she was so ugly that she had her face reconstructed. She returns home for a visit and meets a young woman who is shunned by society for her strange appearance, but has a very kind heart.
- Last story is of a vampire who takes in a orphan girl so he can eventually kill her, but ends up spending the rest of her life with her.

My Opinion
I always enjoy Mitsukazu Mihara's works. Theses stories have heart and are a bit twisted and sad at the same time; which seems to be her style in all her works. This book will be enjoyed by any fan of Doll or The Embalmer.
