FIFA World Cup Organising Committee President Franz Beckenbauer and Hans Ludwig Grüschow, chairman of the "Deutsche Sporthilfe" foundation. The five special issue stamps will be on sale between 6 March and 30 June 2003 at all Deutsche Post World Net agents. They will also be available throughout the year | ||||
at Frankfurt and Weiden regional philately outlets, at post offices, specialised stamp shops and at the Deutsche Sporthilfe philately offices. The profits from the sale of the stamps will help finance the Deutsche Sporthilfe’s invaluable training programmes for top-level sport and the cultural and youth-oriented events it is planning around the 2006 FIFA World Cup. | |||||
