Welcome to TheFatMan's Reef. I've
thrown this website together to showcase my reef tank, and to hopefully
be able to steer some beginning saltwater hobbyists, like myself, in the right direction.
If it's important to you, to know who I am, my name is
Jay and I live in Toledo, Ohio. I have been keeping Freshwater fish since
I was a child, but more avidly for about the last 7 years. I currently
have 7 FW tanks.
I am fairly new to the hobby of saltwater fish, or reef
keeping, so I am by no means an expert. But I've got some great advice to
give, and I am thus far successful in the hobby, because I have followed
the advice of those that have had the graciousness to give it to me.

you would like to see how I built some of the things my tank is equipped
with. And the Reef Links list, is an invaluable tool, especially if you are new
to the hobby.
