Sedona

What a treasure, this little book
I opened the pages
and let the words fall upon my receptive heart

It reminded me of you

What a treasure, this pure white rock

How long in the making
and how long it will ever be

It reminded me of you

Both these gifts a product of nature
Both these gifts a product of man
And something more --
the encapsulation of the spirit of God
which man so desperately needs
and so diligently seeks

This little book carved from the tree
and stamped with the images
of divine mind

This crystal rock cleft from the mecca
and carved by the hand of craftsmen
to hold the light of illumination

And both have found their way to me
through you

As you have found your way to me
through love

What a treasure!

Is there any place too far?
Is there any way too long?

From our very first meeting
I knew you

Now I know why

Sedona is not a place

it is a state

..but if somewhere in my travels,

I should ever see this image...

I will know that it was meant to be.
